What about Congestion Control as that's a big part of keeping lag in check
-
While connected via ethernet, access the interface and disable WiFi entirely from the WiFi settings, reboot the router from the interface, wait 2 minutes, access, enable WiFi, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes then see if they appear and if it's more stable from then on.

Xr500 ping heat map of EA fc 24
Netduma Fraser replied to shahidwali13's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Sorry not sure what the question is exactly on this? Are you saying the Dubai server from your Ping Heatmap is much higher? -
The team are actually looking into this specific VPN provider and making it work with the R3 currently as we can't make it work either
-
Where are you measuring the ping exactly? How have you setup the Geo-Filter/Congestion Control/SmartBOOST?
-
You should see it on the Geo-Filter as an option for PC/in Traffic Prio but its not been added to Heatmap. Not every game has been added to Heatmap as the list would be very long otherwise! We're looking at better ways of organizing it so we can add more there without it appearing overwhelming.
-
It looks to be purely visual, I have the same thing appearing on mine, thanks for the report, I will pass it on.
-
It'll be the option Client Identifier ID you would need which the R3 does support, it's in WAN Settings
-
The simple ping is minimum 5 so doesn't need to be available for expert as if you want to go higher that's when you then go to expert if you see what I mean

DumaOS iOS app finally working
Netduma Fraser replied to WESTC0AST's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team are working on. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. In the meantime best to adjust Congestion Control manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced. -
To answer your points: We are aware of this so that'll be fixed. How often is it occurring, every day, every few days etc?

wtf is the hold up on my refund?
Netduma Fraser replied to Kerry Aldae's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It hasn't been 24 hours since you provided that information. We do our best to reply as soon as possible but can't always reply that quickly. I will reply via email today. -
Any Ea fc 24 player from asia region
Netduma Fraser replied to shahidwali13's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Ping Heatmap just shows servers so they're not required to be shown there for the Geo-Filter to work correctly. Are you having a specific issue? -
What happens when you try in the app, is it blank as well?
-
Added, you can find it here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/

new internet bufferbloat question for cod
Netduma Fraser replied to kevo's topic in Call of Duty Support
It does do a speed test when testing the ping under load so it should saturate or come very close yes -
Constantly Unable to Access Dumoos/
Netduma Fraser replied to exodus1337's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Haha no worries, at least it's a quick resolution! -
It will become available in the next firmware version we release. I believe it says that on the app as we didn't expect the app to be approved so quickly (took a day rather than the weeks it normally does)

new internet bufferbloat question for cod
Netduma Fraser replied to kevo's topic in Call of Duty Support
Really the only thing to do is to experiment with the Congestion Control percentages, that is the only thing that will lower the ping under load -
Make sure you updated to the latest app version, if you have then uninstall it and then reinstall it and try again please

Constantly Unable to Access Dumoos/
Netduma Fraser replied to exodus1337's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I mean at least in this example it's because you've put dumoos rather than dumaos, does that then work? -
You'll need to sign up here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ and then we can give you access

In the meantime best to adjust Congestion Control manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced. There was an app update a few days again but shouldn't affect this. If you do it in the web browser does it work then?

You're using Ping Assist and Geo-Latency which can happen with both of those enabled. Disable Geo-Latency and see if it adheres more to Ping Assist.
