  5. I'd suggest doing a factory reset first, it's a big change. You can downgrade, just download a previous firmware and 'upgrade' to it

  9. While connected to the router via a wired Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please. Do you have the issue with all ports? Do you have the issue with different ethernet cables? Do you have the issue trying with different wired devices?

  12. You said you still get the issue with the Geo-Filter disabled right? So that's unlikely to be it and there is no other reason it would lose connection to the server. The firmware on there hasn't changed for years so shouldn't be a sudden issue really - if you could grab the logs when it happens there may be something in it that alludes to the problem but unlikely
  13. These ping differences you're seeing on the test, does this ever translate to in game or are you purely focused on this test to determine how good your connection is? Will have a look thanks Glad you were able to get updated in the end, thanks for the update!

  15. Did you factory reset after upgrading? You seem to be the online person having the issue so it's not necessarily an easy thing to determine the cause, if after a factory reset it continues please grab the logs again when it happens, there may be some new information
  16. It will work with what you've mentioned. Have you entered the VLAN ID into the router also as well as PPPoE?

  18. Do you notice anything blocked on the Geo-Filter when that happens? Would be best to make your own topic also It could be your router LAN IP address that you've changed, could you revert this to the default and see if it works more consistently please?

  20. What firmware version are you on currently? Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes, hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface
  21. It could well be the game server, have you noticed the issue again?
  22. No only the XR500 is exposed to the internet which is what we want, the XR500 has a firewall so it's just literally like if you were to swap the fritz for the XR
