  1. Yes I think if you disable QoS, then disable DPI, you can re-enable QoS and DPI will stay disabled if you leave it. In practicality I don't know if that will work or not but let us know. Yeah pretty certain it's a cloud issue, will leave a message for them to pick it up when they can.
  2. That'd definitely have to be enabled in either case for it to work. Hopefully the logs reveal something, thanks for the report!
  3. You're able to reproduce this consistently with it working on the app? That's super strange because either they should both work or neither as they'd have the same settings and cloud, super weird. If you could that'd be great thanks. No worries, enjoy Christmas!
  4. You can ignore that, it's just if you have a pure modem. I've given you Early Access, try the firmware there and see if it is any better please https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  5. That wouldn't be suitable, I'm waiting to hear the plan for the next version, will post once its ready
  6. If that's the case then I don't think the logs are providing enough information to determine a particular pattern as it appeared to be the Adblocker cloud preceding it on other logs. Go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, close the interface tab and wait 4 minutes before accessing, then see if it works please. Hopefully, changing the option will also help to restart the necessary Rapps/processes to have it functioning correctly. Otherwise, if someone could re-install the firmware via TFTP, complete that then factory reset that would provide the freshest install possible and then change nothing but adding your device to the Geo-Filter and playing it would help eliminate a lot of variables. I do apologize for anyone experiencing this issue, with the time of year I'm pretty much flying solo so I can't get a dev to take a look, I'll continue to do what I can to try and find a workaround in the meantime.
  7. That makes sense! Where are you based approximately, assuming it's not too close to NY given the ping? Also next time when you do it, if you click the icon on the logs panel and you can download the logs as a file and upload it here, that will make it a lot more readable for me
  8. In theory yes but I know they have made some changes when they referenced VPNs so if you're getting a much higher ping then it may prevent it happening. Could you provide a screenshot of what you see on the Geo-Filter page when that happens please?
  9. Gotcha, check on the Xbox itself for the IP it is getting, then check on the Device Manager and find a device that has the same IP address or failing that the same MAC address that the Xbox has, then rename it.
  10. Thanks for that, it is an LA server so you shouldn't be getting that high a ping. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  11. Quick question then, how are you determining you're getting the server in the EU? Is it just because you're seeing it or is auto ping also pinging it?
  12. In theory it should yes but it's not ideal, can you not just connect the Xbox directly to the R3?
  13. Are you using HybridVPN at all?
  14. I suspect it's a mislocated server, if you can provide the ID I can double check. In the meantime, deny the server and keep denying any that have a high ping and you should find lower ping servers again within your radius. Also resync the cloud just in case you're running an old cloud update.
  15. Not a super quick way no unfortunately and not something I can do either. It's unlikely the servers are new, the logs should tell me more.
  16. Untick the default lists for Adblocker on the router to disable them, then disable Adblocker entirely as well. Then reboot the router and see if it happens again please.
  17. No worries, you can find the logs at the bottom of the System Information page. Thanks for these, it's really helpful, I will pass them on. Yeah as you can see they use a lot of servers clustered in one location, I have no idea how many but there is likely quite a few more, it'll be a whole range we've whitelisted. Due to the team being off I'm not sure this will be a quick fix unfortunately but do grab the logs when it happens again after you've resynced and I'll take a look.
  18. Could you provide an uncropped screenshot, like the above, showing what you see when you get one of those high ping games please?
  19. Added https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/
  20. Thanks for that, I will pass them on to be checked. Could you grab the log the next time it happens please?
  21. I'm all for the idea, it would help me and the customers a lot, I can put it forth as a request but couldn't say when/if it might happen. Hopefully this next update is a good middle ground for the time being.
  22. Do you mean the error continues?
  23. Could you try api.netduma.com as a domain instead please and check after a reboot
