RolidSnake Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I'm sorry guys I'm quoting myself but something weird is going on here. I was hosting a few games in a row (don't know how that happened). I was the only one with 4 bars. When I hit "options" to check my ping, the connection meter was missing. (Check the vid below) When I joined an other game the ping meter was back on. Is it me or has happened to you too? It's happened to me a fair few times. I think it's a glitch in the beta.

Alex49H Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Today the P2P connection was terrible. Went positive in one game and the next 5 games negative because of the lag. Have my Geo Filter at 597 miles and Auto Ping off and PA at 0. However, I have seen teammates with a terrible connection with a Yellow 3 bar and it makes you suffer and lag. That could have been why. Going to try with Auto Ping on and set PA to 30 and see what happens.
procreate Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 when the connection goes bad... its really bad. i would go 10 deaths in a split second dying super quick. i wouldnt even see the person before i was dead. i do hope they sort it out for everyones sake.

It doesn't appear to be tied to the Specialist, but can't say for sure. What about tokens? It looks like you get one per level, up to the now level raised cap of 34. Do I need a token for tier one-three greed like normal progression? Attachments? It looks like you can have up to five on your primary?!

It's an indicator one of the specialists (Outrider) is using her ability to detect you on her minimap even if you have thrust supressor and dead silence on. It actually gives YOU the advantage because it means they are somewhere in your vicinity and nine times out of ten they are right behind you! Some perks, scorestreaks and even weapons require anywhere from 1 to 3 tokens to unlock. You can have SEVEN attachments on your weapon, now This is cool because I can finally run the staples like foregrip, quickdraw grip, quick switch mags, stock and a sight of your choice. I don't think I will need more than four for any weapon, but I like the option is now there in case I want to sacrifice other slots (pick 10; just basic three perks + seven on weapon).

Thanks for clearing that up, I couldn't figure out from watching what was happening. That is in interesting by product of using that ability. Might have to steer clear of that one. 7 attachments on one gun?? Holy hell! I might need to bring back my fast class with all perks and a grenade, then just run to a dropped Monty Haul weapon and do some work.

Meaning, you can get into a game, but you get constant "Connection Interrupted" message and when I checked pings (in-game) everybody was going to one red bar... Including me. I think I was on the NYC dedicated server because there seems to be more P2P now that the weekend is here and some games were smooth as silk, but this one was horrid. Did anybody else experience this?

It's mixed. Since I'm one of the "shill squad" I go there a lot. We don't all suck. Anyway, most of the posts are "Where's my beta token"? I don't think a lot realized they had to enter that code first.

My gut tells me it'll be the same for XB1. Pure Speculation: I wonder if they are testing if they could go totally F2P with an online only CoD... Like with CoD Online in China?
