Jermsz
@DARKNESS Think I have a mirroring switch lying around here somewhere. I'll set it up.
DARKNESS
@Jermsz Follow your port mirroring manual instructions then set the IP of the console and then the router IP and see what information is being provided as the game is running in the background. @Netduma FraserSo that's something that can be updated for those that are incorrectly providing files as it easier to comprehend and see if it actually working by looking at information that is easy to read. I say this because I checked certain files and there not doing it correctly and no-one has said a beep about that... https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/527/ - Can use as reference for port mirroring https://jam.dev/c/ec6b8094-d02d-4941-a137-a68a37d4a2f2 - Video Netduma Fraser
Jermsz
Can we add zoom contact center to the list? I use it for work for calls but when I get a call, it doesn't trigger the VoIP priority I have set in smart boost. I also don't see traffic for Spotify and YouTube music when I stream those. Hoping I have time to add caps from my computer later today.

V1k1 Posted yesterday at 12:49 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:49 AM Hi, Valorant seems to be a hit or miss being detected in its existing Activity under Gaming (or Valorant activity itself). Application name: VALORANT-Win64-Shipping.exe (Riot games Launcher -> Launching the primary Valorant exe) Device type used for capture: Win 11 on PC desktop, hardwires, closed other apps. Any other comments: Not using xbox gamepass. DumaOS R3 latest beta firmware since October '24, R3 is brand new. PC was labeled as PC device, had issues. Relabeled as game console, same issues. I noticed when it does detect the first game of the day, once I go back to the main menu and requeue, the Valorant/Gaming Activity stays offline. Relaunching doesn't bring it back as active for smartboost. Riotgames/Valorant does have a webpage on what ports they use. Maybe this will be a good resource on top of the files. I really want valorant to always be detected when myself and/or wife are playing on separate PCs. Valorant menu to matchmaking to a few rounds in game.pcapng valorant end of swiftplay to menu and back to a swift play 2 rounds in.pcapng

When this is received and passed over to the team, how long does it typically take (outside of holidays) to be added to the DPI self-learning engine to where users would see this reflected in SmartBoost/DumaOS? Is it months? Weeks? I know there won't be a set date for every case. I'm asking if it's looked at frequently enough or does it lag behind for months and months. Does someone scrub through new wireshark uploads weekly, analyze it then sync it? Just curious how fast this type of support is, assuming we've provided what Netduma needs (the files and anything else). I'm also looking to see if I can utilize wireshark/other programs to only look at packets related to a program so it doesn't have any other packets in the file - maybe this would help identify it faster on your end. I really can't give you a satisfying answer, it depends how popular the game is, whether we need to test in addition to the captures, the workload of the person who does it etc. It can lag behind, I do my best to nudge along to keep it ticking.
