It's just a misreading, you don't actually have any NAT issues from what we can tell. You can safely ignore it.
-
OK, it may be best to take the WAN IP of the R2 and put it in the DMZ of the ISP router, that will solve the NAT problem. To answer your other questions: Yes, but routing a game through a VPN will add latency and degrade your experience. Yes, that will send all traffic from that device through the VPN.

What is the make and model of the modem exactly? Is it a pure modem or does it have Wi-Fi capability?
-
OK, can you send over a screenshot of how it's now configured? We can see if there's anything's causing it not to filter properly.
-
That's odd, could you please open an incognito window in chrome, then go to the interface and test if Ping Heatmap is behaving the same way? If it is, please download a copy of the log file from System Information and send it over. For Geo-filter, please do the following: Remove device from Geo-filter Resync cloud from three-line menu Re-add device to Geo-filter When asked to select a service, make sure you pick 'Choose manually'
-
You shouldn't need to reset and reconfigure anything from scratch. In what way is Geo-filter not working exactly? Can you describe exactly what you're seeing when it's not working? Are you able to ping any of the other games in Ping Heatmap after resyncing the cloud as mentioned?

Hybrid VPN isn't working, it shows that it's failed in the Connection Status. NAT type 2 on the Play Station is not necessarily a problem, it just means the Play Station is aware there is a router above it. You still have an Open NAT with this type. If you're going to add the R2 to the DMZ of the modem, make sure you remove any port forwarding rules you've configured on the R2.

Welcome to the forum! For the language issue, this is coming in future. In the meantime you could try installing the Google Translate browser plug-in and translate the page? For your NAT issue, have you followed this guide? It described all the ways you can get an Open NAT. http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000076587-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-open-nat Your Hybrid VPN isn't connecting for some reason, could you please let us know who your VPN provider with and which OVPN file you're using to configure it? Can you share a screenshot of how you've currently got Geo-filter configured? In Ping Heatmap, click the three-line menu in the top left of the map then click 'Resync cloud'. After that, check if you can ping servers.

Qos not working anymore
Netduma Liam replied to Rickyrocks's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@RickyrocksPlease keep your responses contained within one reply, it makes it quite difficult to read when they're spread across four separate replies. I'm not to familiar with that specific modem, if you access it's settings can you see if there's anywhere for you to configure PPPoE? I'm pretty sure that's what's causing your issue. -
OK, if you reduce your sliders in Congestion Control to around 70% each can you run another Ping Plotter and check the results? Since you've updated, could you please factory reset the XR1000. That should get rid of any low-level code left over from the previous firmware that could cause issues/conflicts.

Welcome to the forum! It's on our roadmap to get NHL added so it shouldn't be a problem. Are you playing on console or on PC? We can get it working for you in the meantime?

Hey all, If you haven't noticed, there's a new update for the XR1000, with Adblocker! You can view the changelog and download it here (If you've got auto-update disabled): https://kb.netgear.com/000064837/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-64 You may notice that Adblocker doesn't have any default lists configured yet. To make it easy for you all we've uploaded the default list to a URL so you can all quickly add it to your Adblocker via the URL. To find out how, check the below KB article: https://support.netduma.com/frequently-asked-questions/legacyfaqs/adblocker-xr1000/ If you've got any questions or issues, please create a new topic in this sub-forum and we can assist.

It's available on the latest firmware, please update to that and you'll be able to do this. -
Qos not working anymore
Netduma Liam replied to Rickyrocks's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
What's the make and model of the modem? Is it a pure modem or does it have Wi-Fi capability too? You could go to the interface of the modem and see if you can find any settings for PPPoE configuration? -
XR500 QOS "not needed?"
Netduma Liam replied to CoachPanda's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
OK, that appears to be a pure modem so that's fine. How many prioritised packets are you seeing approximately, can you send over a screenshot? -
Qos not working anymore
Netduma Liam replied to Rickyrocks's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Can you disable all rules in Traffic Prioritisation, then test again on the Xbox? It may be that the Xbox traffic is still being prioritised and therefore superseding the limit set by Congestion Control. -
Qos not working anymore
Netduma Liam replied to Rickyrocks's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
First things first, could you please confirm if you've factory reset the XR since installing the latest update? If not I'd suggest doing so. Could you also confirm if your connection requires PPPoE, VLAN or DHCP identifiers in order for you to get access to the internet? Are both upload and download not affected in the speedtest? Is Congestion Control set to always when you're running the tests? -
WILL NOT CONNECT TO PNW (SEATTLE WA) SERVERS
Netduma Liam replied to tru3skilla's topic in Call of Duty Support
If you just disable filtering mode instead of removing the device from Geo-filter, you'll be able to see what server you're playing on without it affecting your game. Try that then you know you can set your filter to that server to guarantee good gameplay consistently. -
It would be worth opening a new topic, describing your issue in as much detail as possible so we can troubleshoot this with you. I'd also suggest ensuring you're updated to the latest firmware and have factory reset since installing it.

WILL NOT CONNECT TO PNW (SEATTLE WA) SERVERS
Netduma Liam replied to tru3skilla's topic in Call of Duty Support
How do you have Geo-filter configured? Are you using a VPN at all? What game mode are you playing specifically, can you connect to this server in any other game modes? -
It's just not intended functionality to VPN specific ports from a console in Hybrid VPN, so we don't know how well it'll work. It will be easier to VPN the whole device as Fraser mentions.

Halo infinite settings
Netduma Liam replied to Rickyrocks's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Right OK, we'll have to do some more testing internally. The only difference I can think of is that we were playing on PC and you're on console, so we'll hook up an xbox and try again. I'll update you here with our findings.
