Do you have any servers in your allow and deny list? There server that's appearing in the UK is manually whitelisted, hence why you're getting connected to it.

OK we'll be updating our DPI database with many improvements to how CoD is recognised and prioritised so you should still notice this improving over time!

COD Cold War Geo-Filter not working
Netduma Liam replied to UK_Wildcats_Fans's topic in Netduma R2 Support
That's odd, could you try the following: Remove your device from Geo-filter Click the three-line menu in the top left of the Geo-filter map and click 'Resync cloud' Re-add your device to Geo-filter, be sure to select 'Choose manually' when prompted to pick a service Reboot the game and test that out Let me know how you get on with that. -
OK thanks, have you switched all devices on the network to be connected to the R2? I know we mentioned doing this earlier in the thread, but you didn't mention if that's been done yet or not.
-
OK cool, thanks for confirming. Which firmware version are you currently running on the XR500?
-
Hey, I've responded to you in your other topic.

Can you please try the following: Remove your device from Geo-filter Click the three-line menu in the top left of the Geo-filter map and click 'Resync cloud' Re-add your device to Geo-filter, be sure to select 'Choose manually' when prompted to pick a service Reboot the game and test that out If that's still not working, can you provide a screenshot as to how you've got Geo-filter configured currently? I'm sure we can find a solution.

What game are you playing? If the connection is showing to be peer, it won't show you ping.
-
OK yeah I'd be interested to see how Geo-filter and QoS are setup if you could send that over. Are ALL devices on the network connected to the R2?

R2 setup advice with mesh network
Netduma Liam replied to Ninja_Theory's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Welcome to the forum! Thanks for picking up an R2. In order for QoS to work at it's absolute best, I'd suggest having the R2 at the top of the network and have the mesh system connect to one of it's LAN ports. You then know for sure that it's got full control over the network. And yes, 12V, 1A is correct. -
That's interesting, do you still have the same rules configured in Traffic Prioritisation we suggested? You mentioned after that it felt better.

Hey, I've responded to your email, let's continue there.

cant get into the router page
Netduma Liam replied to mike kontorousis's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Interesting, could you please disconnect the R2 from power for 10 minutes, then reconnect it again and see if you're able to access the interface after that? -
MW2 Shoot First Die first? how to fix this?
Netduma Liam replied to ownal0t's topic in Call of Duty Support
Odd, that shouldn't be related to the cloud update. Are you getting this if you access the interface from a completely different browser? If so, could you perhaps try rebooting the R2? -
Thanks, I've responded to you in the other thread you mentioned this in.

You can try experimenting with some higher ping servers, but in theory it'll just be down to chance as to whether that helps or not. What device are you playing on and how have you got Traffic Prio configured? Can you send a screenshot?
-
I'm not sure why they do it, but they mess about with servers so much when the game first launches. I've let the team know and we'll push another update for it today. We're also working on a more long term solution so this behaviour affects you less.

Could you just clarify exaclty which router you're using? Is it the XR300? If so, there isn't yet a dumaOS 3.0 build for the XR300 so I don't know if it's going to work great with the app. Let me know and I'll speak to the app devs and see.

cant get into the router page
Netduma Liam replied to mike kontorousis's topic in Netduma R2 Support
How are you connected to the R2, via wired or wireless? Do you still have internet access through the R2? What are you seeing in your web browser when you go to 192.168.77.1 in your web browser? -
It seems less likely to be an issue with your hardware, it shouldn't have much affect on streaming content from YouTube. That being said, full/failing drives can cause some really bizarre problems. Can you see if you can find another device you can connect via ethernet, then stream some content on there and see how it is?

It seems like it's doing pretty well, it might require some tweaking to optimise but for the most part it's good! The right combination of Geo-filter and QoS seem to make for a pretty competitive gaming experience.
