slickrick6922 got a reaction from Jumppy_15 in MW 3 what's working for you?
I'm in the US, The lowest ping I can get is 20 and the game is almost unplayable because other people in the lobby with higher pings, The higher ping players are bullet sponges and 1 frame kill you + I dont have time to react to them sometimes because they appear out of no where( lag confiscation). The best ping for me is around 80 but I haven't tried any higher ping.

Add your PC with the Games Console service and it should prioritize correctly

Imagine fully maxing out your up- and download yet your ping only spikes by 5 milliseconds, thats what Iain pulled off in the lab. It wouldnt matter at all whats happening in your network, your ping would always be spot on. Iain posted the results on his blog a few years ago, its several pages long with lots of test results and graphs (including benchmarks against unnamed industry leading routers). Maybe that blog is still up.
Yes pretty much.
Iain said the router would analyze how the ping to the server is fluctuating and then add a variable delay on the fly to it to keep the ping stable. Say you set this feature to +8 milliseconds, your router would then just add an artificial 8 milliseconds delay on top of your normal ping/connection and remove a chunk from it each time the actual ping to the server would rise. A stable but slightly higher ping will give a better game experience than a lower but unstable one.
And yes it may not work with high jitter connections but low to medium jitter connections could be balanced out perfectly assuming you set the artifical ping increase high enough.
using Anti-Jitter and Anti-Spike at the same time could be huge! But who knows if its still a thing, last message was like 2 years ago in which a Netduma employee said its still worked on.

What are the chances Anti-Spike and Anti-Jitter are part of the 4 unveiled features? Iain must have been working on those for like 5 years now, and the lab results he showed lots of years ago where quite promising already.

You would need to use a different email I think so try that first, otherwise maybe send a PM to @Christine_T on the Netgear community forum and she may be able to help.

not for me on xbox, if I take away 3075 on top the light dont come on at all.

You are lucky man. In a very rare occasion (I think less than 5% of my games) I'm a second ahead. I'm always on the wrong side.
And gun fights... as I said, many time I even get a gun fight, I only see the enemy for a milisecond, and then die. But yes, when I lose a gun fight, I see in kill cam (almost in every killcam) that I'm a second behind.
That's the reason why I asked Admins to put a feature in netduma to set a minimmum ping to find a lobby.

try only 1 rule, 3075-3075, on top 30000-49000 on bottom

I'm on Xbox also, I dont prioritize port 3074 because the red light comes on as soon as I start the Xbox, I'm playing cod mw with port 3075 only in traffic prio. and the light only comes on when game starts, as far as abb, everyones will be difrent depending how much speed you have and how many devices. you said you have share on upload? upload is normally what we have the least of and its the most important in online gaming.

Yeah I been using different variations of prioritizing over the past week or so to see what gives me the best results game after game day after day. I have MW on both PS4 and Xbox and test all setups on both. I just like to ask questions when people throw info out so that I'm clear on what they are saying so I can test it.
My opinion on this is first and foremost this all starts by not using the Anti Bufferbloat sliders. If you use those that's where the problems start. Prioritizing the ports is the gravy in all this. However too much gravy and you mess the meal up. I just kind of feel the Duma Team could have gave us all this data. I mean they can pull that raw data real quick and break it down step by step for a universal way for everyone to setup.

@kinel read my Post in the other topic
You only need prio Port range UDP 30000-45000
Destination UDP 3074 is the auth Server + unimportant Game Data Like Stats, Challenges ect.
If you prio to much source Port 3074 will be congestet and you will lag ..
Prio Just only the Gameserver Ports and nothing Else.. i had Great Results Yesterday..
Even the Feeling iam a secound ahead of my enemys
