You can install the firmware using one-click update. Simply open up DumaOS and look for the green "Update Available" icon.
If the icon is not there, the firmware has not been rolled out to your unit yet. You can install manually by downloading the file below, then go to Settings > Troubleshooting > Upload Firmware, and upload the file.
You need to login to the forum before you can download this file. If you don't want to make an account, use one-click update as described above.

As above it's available to be selected on the Geo-Filter, we're working on getting it added to Ping Heatmap currently, shouldn't be long

HANDSOME KING reacted to Zeriu in Xdefiant
XDefiant seems to have already been added with the 4.0.209 firmware update.
It's listed under The Devision/XDefiant. I have been using it and it works pretty well.

HANDSOME KING reacted to Netduma Fraser in WTFAST COMING TO R3?
I'm not involved in the partnership side of things so I can never say 100% but I've not seen anything about WTFast coming to the R3. Also I watched the video, I didn't see any reference to it?

Hello, welcome to the forum!
This topic is a year old, could you let us know what modem you're using etc? Have you contacted Telstra regarding this?

HANDSOME KING got a reaction from Zippy in Haters get MGB's dropped on them!
I hope the connection stays this way. I made a new account just to test everything out. I ended up dropping a MGB in this lobby. My Netduma R3 came to life again but I don't know for how long. Only time will tell...

HANDSOME KING reacted to Netduma Fraser in Duma OS firmware support
DumaOS 4 will not be coming to any XR routers. I would not recommend the XR300 personally - it's no longer manufactured and has the oldest firmware version out of the XR range.

HANDSOME KING reacted to Netduma Alex in NEW R3 FIRMWARE 4.0.41
Hi everyone,
We have a brand new R3 firmware for you. It includes many important fixes based on the feedback we received since the launch, including addressing issues with Steady Ping and Geo-Filter 2.0 to make them more reliable. The full change log is provided at the bottom of this thread.
Over the next few days, you will be able to upgrade automatically by clicking on the 'Update Available' option in your user interface (both mobile and desktop). However, if you prefer, you can manually upgrade your R3 now using a PC or laptop by following these steps:
Download the attached upgrade file. Reboot your R3 - this is a one-off as this new firmware contains improvements to make manual upgrading smoother in the future. Go to the Netduma R3 user interface on your PC/laptop. Navigate to >Settings >Troubleshooting and then click Upload Firmware. Choose the file and then upload it. You'll need to wait a few minutes for the upload to complete.. If you upgraded to version 4.0.40 last week, we recommend upgrading to this new 4.0.41 as soon as possible. The previous firmware had a niche packet reordering bug affecting login issues for games like Fortnite. It also made Geo-Filter 2.0 less reliable. These issues are now fixed in the latest release.

What's Next?
Good news: Hybrid VPN development is complete for the R3 and is now in testing. We've redesigned the frontend for Hybrid-VPN to make it easier and clearer compared to DumaOS 3. We're excited for you to try it out! In the next few days, we'll be moving it to closed beta testing, and if all goes well, we should have it with you very soon along with fixes to make Ping Optimiser run more reliably and improved IPv6 support.
Please continue to provide us with your feedback so we can keep making your R3 experience better and better.

Thank you for using the Netduma R3.

I pre-ordered it a day or two ago, can't wait to see it's full potential. Please send me the same model owned by Luke and Ian. You know the version where there's no lag, dedicated servers 24/7 and I'm just impossible to kill. Yeah, that version! 😂 Just teasing guys, congrats on the R3 and I'm happy for its release.🏆🎮

HANDSOME KING got a reaction from TrayDay in Block list
Remove everyone from your block list and watch how much easier it is to find better lobbies. There's no one on my block list in the COD menu or on my Xbox Live profile. This will also make it easy for every Duma OS user to find each other. When the problem isn't lag, it's going to boil down to your skills. I hope this helps someone out there and you end up having a wonderful experience.

@TODDzillaInLA Also received a similar warning due to players getting stomped thanks to dialing in Netduma settings. When connection is handled properly. From old school wrestler, Shawn Michael, taste the sweet chin music.

HANDSOME KING got a reaction from TrayDay in Unsupported Device Warning
My Netduma R2 has been working so good that I got an Unsupported Device Warning. It's now considered cheating to be really good at the game and have an incredible connection. Remind you, I don't even play this game everyday. Yet these cry babies block and report me 24/7. Not a single person is on my block list, whether they're good or not. If my team sucks I just exit the lobby, no hard feelings to my teammates but I just get tired of carrying everyone. Shoutout to Netduma for always keeping my router working so well.

HANDSOME KING reacted to Netduma Liam in Issues with Game Optimiser on New Gen 3 Modem
OK, sorry to hear that.
Thank you for troubleshooting this with us nonetheless, we are working on new firmware for the Gen 3 so it will be more stable and more reliable in the next firmware. If you do decide to activate Game Optimiser again until then please do let us know and we'd be happy to continue to debug this with you until we've found a solution.
