  1. That has been suggested before so it is likely you'll see something like this in the future.
  2. I will double check with the team regarding the vulnerability status and get back to you.
  3. It might change prior to release but as I'm currently aware It will have most preinstalled and then if you wish you can then uninstall/(re)install what you like.
  4. Sorry, I should have been clearer. IPv6: It does work with QoS etc and we're continuing to ensure they work harmoniously. USB: Not currently no but may utilize this more in the future. I will double check with the team regarding the vulnerability status and get back to you.
  5. Some results for you: QoS On: Download 860Mbits/sec Upload 821Mbits/sec QoS Off: Download 890Mbits/sec Upload 833Mbits/sec It does work with QoS etc and we're continuing to ensure they work harmoniously. Not currently no but may utilize this more in the future. The XR routers do have more powerful hardware, so if that is what you're after then would recommend those but if you want a router that is optimized for DumaOS and will receive updates quicker then the R2 would be a good choice.
  6. That is coming, we're working hard to get it tested and out as fast as possible. Good question, I've asked a developer so will get back to you when I have an answer. The RAM is DDR3.
  7. Hey, welcome to the forum! Firstly I'd recommend upgrading to this firmware and then doing a factory reset as that should help with some of your issues: https://kb.netgear.com/000061714/XR700-Firmware-Version-1-0-1-24-Hot-Fix I highly doubt it will be available for the XR700 within a week, it is also unlikely to fix all the issues you're facing - wasn't even aware of the WiFi issue you're having for example. Some of those will be for Netgear so it also depends when they will be implementing fixes.
  8. We'll try and get you bumped up so you can use it sooner. Thanks for the support!
  9. Sure, I'll try and get you bumped up the list.
  10. Without QoS the R2 should reach close to gigabit speeds so if you want QoS at those higher speeds then the XR would be the better choice.
  11. We'll try and get you guys boosted up the list. @Nalsano there is no need to make a new account, if anything it would likely get the beta after your main account.
  12. Yes you can return it within 14 days for any reason.
  13. Yes absolutely, it can be used with any ISP/connection type as long as you have an existing modem/router to connect it to.
  14. Invites are still being sent out but it is a waiting game, I'll try and get you boosted up the list. No it won't come immediately but later on down the line.
  15. Could you put these in the form itself please so we can move them? Also please don't put a 3.0 picture outside the beta forum.
  16. That's certainly plausible, I've passed it on to the team! Glad to hear you like what we're offering. It's definitely our biggest update to date and will pave the way for more features to be added much more easily. Invites are still being sent out so always the chance you'll get it before the R2 ships but thank you for the support, we really appreciate you sticking with us for this long!
  17. Hey, welcome to the forum! That's a good question and it is the latter at the moment, I will however suggest that to the team as that is quite a good workaround.
  18. Thank you for the feedback, as I said we're looking for cheaper alternatives so if you would prefer to wait we'll have some cheaper options in the future.
  19. It's always been that price for us for DHL Express 1 working day delivery. We do usually have Royal Mail as an option as well which is cheaper but takes a bit longer. Due to COVID we didn't want to risk it as they can be unreliable but will bring it back after everything has settled down. We will be seeking cheaper alternatives as well in the future.
  20. They don't send confirmation emails out so you just have to wait for an invite. Thanks for your patience.
  21. We're working hard to get it tested and out to testers as soon as possible. I couldn't give time frame exactly but after we've deemed the XR500 to be quite stable I think.
  22. I've got some more information for you. It still does run about the same speed - this is the same on the XR routers as well. However, we have an idea we are looking into on how we can massively improve this. Once it is ready we'll provide an update for free via the Rapp store. With QoS on it can reach 300-400mbps currently but we're looking into optimizing this further to improve the max throughput. With QoS off it can reach near gigabit speeds.
  23. We've never given free shipping on the R1 and the same with the R2. That's perfectly understandable, perhaps we can get some cheaper shipping alternatives after launch.
  24. I'll try and get some estimates and get back to you.
  25. I'll try and get a more clear cut answer for you. Alex covered this earlier in the topic, don't have any specifics at the moment:
