  1. You don't need to untick all the options, in fact Strict Mode should be enabled, with it disabled that would explain why you're finding more servers outside your radius
  2. No need to deselect that. As above NAT Type 2 is open, also if you're going to use a VPN you may have NAT issues, it's very unlikely to be Open then
  3. We are on it, it requires a firmware fix unfortunately!
  4. Riavvia il PC dopo averlo aggiunto e poi vedi, l'IP può essere memorizzato nella cache
  5. Prova ad aggiungerlo con NON VPN questi servizi, non aggiungere regole e vedi se funziona
  6. Can you provide a screenshot of how you have added the device please?
  7. Great to hear that! We don't generally recommend that form of Geo-Filtering, use Ping Heatmap and identify where the lowest ping servers are, then use Polygon mode to draw areas around those locations and set Ping Assist to 0, that should force those servers - make sure you do this before you've booted the game.
  8. How have you added the device to the VPN exactly?
  9. That version doesn't have a fix for PPPoE and QoS, the next version which has more of our changes should allow that to work correctly. The modem you have looks like a pure modem so you won't be able to have that handle PPPoE, do you have another router you could use to handle it instead of the XR?
  10. If they think WireShark is cheating then I'd say it's probably best you don't try and use another program for this purpose. You could get a hub (sort of like a switch), connect the PC to that and another PC to the hub and run WireShark on that PC and it will be able to capture the gaming PC traffic. There is some interesting things in this topic as well: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39076-a-claim-is-made-that-reverse-boosting-fixes-hit-rego-lag-comp-etc-in-cod/ especially the last post
  11. Would expect to see higher than that generally, depends what you're doing, are you seeing any issues along side this?
  15. I'm not sure what guide you're following but the point of TFTP is to install the new firmware before it has booted up, once the light turns white it has booted and therefore will not install the firmware correctly. Use this guide: https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-from-the-Microsoft-Windows-Command-Prompt?article=000059634 and try again
  16. Thanks for letting us know, I've passed it onto the team so they can review the logs.
  17. If the router is dead it wouldn't be able to give you an IP properly, I believe you're supposed to issue the TFTP command before that happens - did you give your PC a static IP as detailed in the original TFTP guide you followed? If not that is why it is not able to send and work properly.
  18. The only other thing I could advise would be to unplug the router from power for 24 hours, that can sometimes bring it back to life, if that doesn't work then it sounds like it may be bricked then unfortunately, you can try contacting Netgear support to see if they have any other troubleshooting methods.
  19. Did you confirm that the router had upgraded successfully before rebooting the router? Don't do a 30/30/30 reset, it's meant for very old routers and can damage newer routers. Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, wait 2 minutes, attempt access, if it doesn't work hold the reset button for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes then try access again. Otherwise you can try using nmrpflash, it is not an official method and so not something we can help with directly, therefore make sure to read the instructions fully https://github.com/jclehner/nmrpflash
  20. You do not need to do whatever it is that tutorial has told you to. Asus LAN port should be connected to the R2 WAN/Internet port. Then copy the WAN IP from the R2 System Information page and put that in the DMZ on the Asus, then you're good to go.
  21. Auto Setup is still a very new feature so will be continued to be improved upon but thank you for letting us know your experience with it. Once new firmware is available let us know if you notice a difference on that one.
  22. You will have to close the tutorial window before you can click on the menu to resync, part of the issue maybe you're using a console/TV web browser which isn't best suited. If you can use a PC it will likely work better
  23. New firmware isn't available yet, we're working on it, once available I'm sure it will resolve the issue. You can reboot like that but ideally you would do it from the interface by clicking the 3 dots icon top right of the interface. You can enter random numbers between .2 & .49, when you've set them all you need to reboot so the devices can then use the IPs you've set.
  24. It would be better to continue topics you've made previously to let us know if our last suggestions have worked or not as we're likely to recommend things we may have already suggested before when you create a new topic. New firmware will resolve the issues we're pretty sure, working on the specific cause currently but in the meantime, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects.
  25. It's worth noting that bufferbloat occurs when your network is saturated, with your speeds and with QoS enabled this wouldn't happen, especially if you're just gaming, in which case you would not experience spikes like that in game. Traffic Prioritization can also interfere with that test. Best bet is to use PingPlotter, according to this guide, while downloading (specifically this, HD videos will not saturate your connection due to your speeds) http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping and experiment with the percentages to find what keeps the ping as low/stable as possible on the bottom graph.
