congestion control not work with waveform
Netduma Fraser replied to justin peryea's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You can try that yes, it may help. It should have a model number on a sticker underneath it -
By add do you mean put it in the DMZ and will that then conflict with your Traffic Prio settings for the console already? If so no it won't conflict. Otherwise as above.

Can't pair nanoleaf shapes with new R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Orbxtal's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Presumably you're using a phone with an app to get them connected? If so have your phone on the 5GHz and then see if it works. I think it should be fixed in the next version if its the issue I think it is. -
XR1000 Can't login 404 Not Found
Netduma Fraser replied to Firefox1923's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Looks like it's going to a weird URL if you use these links specifically http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 does it work? -
Likely the ping to it is timing out (common) and so it's taking the last ping response it got, it's something we're looking at

congestion control not work with waveform
Netduma Fraser replied to justin peryea's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Very unlikely to be faulty if you're seeing the same with the XR. What is the exact model of the Verizon modem you're using? -
Just to clarify, the issue presumably is that you're being killed more often/easily as opposed to experiencing any lag specifically yourself?

congestion control not work with waveform
Netduma Fraser replied to justin peryea's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I'm a bit stumped on this one really as there is obviously something preventing it on the Verizon/modem/ONT side getting any further. Have you just upgraded the speeds or switched providers by any chance? Could you make a new topic please as it'll be a different thing - you probably need to disable Speed Test Bypass so the percentages apply properly to the test. -
You'll be getting a static public IP but the router assigns private (local) IPs via DHCP that's what you're seeing there. Was that recorded from the kill cam or live?
-
Not much I can advise on this one really as there isn't any controls for the LEDs, if you use more internet/bandwidth it might become brighter
-
It's not an ID thing we need to get them working - essentially some games have restrictions around pinging etc on their servers. This is why for example some games you don't get a ping either.
-
It's just an aesthetic issue we'll fix, it will still work as expected and won't impact functionality at all

xr500 Doubt about lastest beta FWs on XR500
Netduma Fraser replied to Maurice's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
If you're concerned about bugs then I would say, if it's not broken don't fix it and stay on your current version. It's not NG official, it's one we have done. The latest firmware will generally be the most stable. -
Network Rules not saving
Netduma Fraser replied to Deb's topic in Telstra Internet Optimiser support
What web browser/device are you using to make the rules? If you use another browser/device does it save for longer? -
xr500 Doubt about lastest beta FWs on XR500
Netduma Fraser replied to Maurice's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Sounds like you might need to re-adjust Congestion Control potentially for that lag. If you want all the latest features then I would say so, you're on DumaOS 2 when you have the opportunity to be on 3.3 with the beta so it will have some more features -
As above it won't work on every single game session/game you play, if we can we'll expand on that support, the only reason could be the routing to the servers I would have thought
-
There isn't a way to block a specific IP address really, what is your usecase? Perhaps I can advise an alternative approach.
-
That's brilliant to hear, thanks for the kind words! This is a great reminder that people do love the product, being on a support forum it's easy to forget that aspect when all you'll see here are people with issues.

You're very welcome, thanks for the kind words, glad you're enjoying it, have a great easter weekend!

Okay great keep us posted! IF that is the only way they check to make sure you're using their modem then yes in theory it should work
-
Do you have it connected to a power extender or direct to an outlet? If an extender please try direct to an outlet. Otherwise do you have another power adapter you could try with? It might be it's not getting proper power to keep those lights on.

Okay thanks we'll check if the location is correct
