I know that the eFootball players are very passionate about the game and about receiving the latest updates but we're not miracle workers unfortunately, it can take a bit of time.

HybridVPN on XR450 no longer loading
Netduma Fraser replied to dissonant's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
No there isn't, the router shouldn't be rebooting after you enter a config into the router, is that what you're saying happens? -
It can show offline sometimes but does it actually show servers on the Geo-Filter or show priority on the main part of SmartBOOST when this happens?
-
That's good to know, do keep an eye out for issues when that happens. Yes if you set it to the same MAC as on the router sticker it should stay the same.

XR500 dropping internet often.
Netduma Fraser replied to rjaaayyy's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
What do you mean you have it set to get into it without internet? When it happens and while connected to the router via a wired Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please. -

Did you reboot the router with HVPN enabled by any chance as I think that could have caused it. In which case, make sure to disable first before rebooting and it should be stable. It is still a beta firmware so there will be some bugs. -
The above video should be a great indication for you, any trouble do let us know!

Potentially yes. No I don't think it should be happening at all and therefore could be causing some unforeseen issues such as this. Yeah it will say what it is using currently.

Could you grab the log when this happens please? -
Could you do the above step please and see if that provides you with better stability?

Opening the router interface is slow.
Netduma Fraser replied to CHING LUN's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I do understand what you mean and we do have a few videos on our YT that should be helpful in this scenario. The issue is the interface is very fluid at the moment, we might make a guide and have to redo it for the very next firmware. I will look into what the plan is for this though. -
Okay well that coupled with the fact that it happens when using your modem says to me that it's not an issue on your side at all, it will be your line and so moving provider would be the best option. Reason being you on you're own playing a game will come no where near saturating your line, even with QoS disabled so bufferbloat won't be occurring and therefore no reason on your side for such a high ping.

Where are you testing the speeds exactly? Have you got your expected speeds set in the router? Are you using Congestion Control? Are you testing over ethernet or WiFi?

Nothing you can do unfortunately but we will be notified immediately if it happens again and it'll be sorted very quickly then. It shouldn't happen again before our fix though -
Hmm okay, must be my first thought then and it's not able to ping very far to stabilize it - I'm not sure there is much we can do about that currently. We will be overhauling the ping system at a later stage which should make it more stable.

Good to hear, if it happens again there isn't anything you can do, you'd just need to wait for us to sort it -
Slow connection/speed test speeds and Fortnite question
Netduma Fraser replied to digital_steve's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Yes that's right, connect the R3 to your ISP modem, set the port forwarding rules on the modem to the R3, you may then need to copy the same rules to the R3 but towards the device, then check your NAT -
Restricting access on certain devices
Netduma Fraser replied to Bluegixer1's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
By restrict if you mean throttle the speeds then no, but if you mean to block them from the internet/applications/services yes you can do that from the Traffic Controller page -

We know what the issue is and will be working on a permanent fix but it should be back to working now
