Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
Check the IP on the PC itself, then check the device you think it is on the Device Manager, make sure they match, if they don't find the match and re-name it. Then in Settings > DHCP > Add Rules > Select Device > Save, then reboot the router from the interface and see if it happens again please. -
Try using 192.168.1.1 instead of routerlogin.net and see if it works please

So it says 1000Mbps link speed in both scenarios? -

Have you made any Internet Rules or any rules specifically for their device? What traffic shows up when that is happening? -
It shouldn't interfere no, I know there were issues in the past with them together but not heard anything recently
-
Added, you can download it from here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56638-new-r2-firmware-dumaos-40258/

We don't provide the IDs to the servers specifically, where are you measuring the packet loss exactly?
-
Are you connecting via ethernet or WiFi? Which URL are you using to access the interface dumaos or 192.168.77.1? Does it work better with the other URL? When does it seem to happen?

Does the speed test on the router itself show higher? Can you provide a screenshot of the Device Manager table view please? -

What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Where are you testing the speeds exactly? Do you have the Adblocker enabled on the R2? -

Thank you, I'll pass it on You have to enable the Geo-Filter before you have even launched the game client, if you have the game client active in the system tray then shut that down fully, wait 2 minutes, enable the Geo-Filter then launch the client and then the game. Do not change Geo-Filter settings while playing but if you do then then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC and it should work then. -
You can but of course with the VPN changes the game has made they're actively trying to prevent people from using them so that's probably why it didn't work correctly
-
I'll leave them a message and get back to you tomorrow with an answer

It's not anything on our side, the router downloads the latest cloud update and then uses that information, it's not an ever changing thing and you don't have a consistent connection to us that would cause issues should it be interrupted or if anything is changed. We'd also see a lot more reports of it if that was the case. If you force servers in a different area does it work as expected each time? -
Sorry for the late reply, thank you for the AI summary though it's not overly helpful, you do have a lot of HybridVPN entries - are you using HybridVPN or have you enabled it and rebooted the router, left it on for a long time etc?

BRING BACK SHARING BANDWIDTH TURN OFF OPTION PLEASE!
Netduma Fraser replied to iOrcus's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Congestion Control doesn't reserve bandwidth, it prevents devices from saturating your connection and causing lag, so it is definitely relevant to your situation here, if it was set correctly it wouldn't have been as bad - how is it set currently? -

You can stay like that, it would work for any game -
Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes then hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface and see if it loads please.

You don't have to take it out completely but the PC would need to be connected to your ISP modem/router or another router capable of providing those speeds- 61 replies

Please provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter when you're actually in the game playing -
You can disable Geo-Latency to prevent the games outside your radius. I know, didn't think you were but I just want to check everything is as good as possible on your side. I've given you Early Access, see if it is any better on that version https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/

That's exactly how it is supposed to work, it adds ping so it can absorb spikes/jitter. You didn't make the change to the console device type, please follow each step and try again.
