  1. Ever since I got my R2 it's had issues pulling a WAN IP from my ISP/Modem. Sometimes after several reboots of both devices it will finally get it. Most of the time the dashboard says WAN disconnected or oddly sometimes it pulls a WAN IP of an internal network, 192.168.100.x. I have no clue where it would pull such an IP from. The modem is just a modem, not a router. Plugging my computer into the modem pulls the external ISP IP without issue with a simple ipconfig /renew. Why is the R2 having so many problems in this area? I'm at a point now where I want to throw this POS away because I've spent over an hour now trying to get back online to no avail.
  2. I’ve rebooted several times to connect my devices! I have DHCP on and the R2 logs saying IP address not usable for every device I try to connect to it. It almost seems like it’s static ip because I have to manually input an IP address to my laptop just to connect to it Ethernet cord. daemon.err odhcpd[1275] : failed to send to ff02::1%[email protected] (address not available)
  3. Hello, since a lot of time, the wifi of my 2 phones at house (s7 edge and iphone 8 plus) wifi drop a lot. I tried to reset the phones, reset the netduma r1 but nothing, I heard a lot of put manually an ip for my two devices but I don't know how to do it, if someone can help me. Thanks in advance.
  4. Basically, I've troubleshot my internet extensively (ISP techs, multiple ISP modem resets, new modem and router, every setting I could think to boost or limit my net issues) and finally found out that I was being DoS attacked through the XR500 logs. [DoS Attack: SYN/ACK Scan] from source:, port 80, Saturday, January 18, 2020 22:11:31 [DoS Attack: SYN/ACK Scan] from source:, port 80, Saturday, January 18, 2020 22:10:46 [DoS Attack: SYN/ACK Scan] from source:, port 80, Saturday, January 18, 2020 22:06:07 There are hundreds more, but here are some. First I set up a VPN through the XR500, which didn't rid me of the problem. I then went to my command prompt and created a new IP address, and then received a DoS attack soon after.I then tried to input a static IP from my command prompt. My net crashed, I reversed it back and now am stuck. I also just received this error, not sure what in regards too. (NetGear SOAP has failed) Ahh the timing: [DoS Attack: SYN/ACK Scan] from source:, port 80, Saturday, January 18, 2020 22:50:42 As I'm putting this request in. As my name indicates, I don't feel like I know enough to figure this out on my own. Please send help.

  6. Hello everyone! I usually used a PPPoE configuration on my PS4 on my ISP router to get NAT type 1. Now with my Netduma I can’t obtain an IP address with the same configuration. If I set automatic LAN settings the console can connect to the internet but with NAT 2. Do someone know how to solve this issue?
  7. Anyone have a list of the UK server IP's? Thanks in advance
  8. Hi all, So my contract with BT is up at the end of next month and although I did request for the g.fast trials I haven't heard anything from them yet, so i'll probably be welcoming IDNets gamer package to replace them. But I do have a few questions in mind which I thought some of the guys on here could clear up for me. 1. What differance does a static IP have on online gaming, if any? 2. What do they mean by superior peering, and what are the advantages of it? Here's what they had to say but i dont understand the benefits of it.. Our core global Internet connectivity is presented in London at LINX & LONAP, in Frankfurt at DE-CIX, in Amsterdam at AMS-IX, and in Stockholm at NETNOD, where we have multiple transit and peering connections with over 700 global networks, enabling us to deliver data from around the world at incredibly fast speeds. Some of our more prominent gaming peers include: Blizzard, iSD, Multiplay, and Riot, to name a few. 3. And finally what does the term port-blocking mean, and how would port-blocking effect gaming? Thanks in advance for all your input Regards,
