  1. That makes more sense, if it doesn't show any devices connected or traffic then those features wouldn't work - it's just a symptom of a difference issue. Please describe your exact physical setup and any changes you've made on the router from their defaults. Have you set static IPs on all the devices themselves?
  2. Thanks for that, what devices do you have connected to ports 1 & 4? Do other devices drop connection when it happens?
  3. Steady Ping won't always be able to prioritize unfortunately, we're working on a new ping method that should help though. Game servers don't respond to pings very well which then makes it difficult to stabilize a ping we can't properly determine
  4. Yes that could help, it's very likely the issue I mentioned, every disconnect issue we've seen on the XR has been due to that, in which case if it's still happening with reserved IPs you'll have to do it for every device and then disable DHCP
  5. It's been in Early Access for a little while, I've given you access: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/
  6. I concur, doing the above gives you the best of both worlds, the features of the R3 + WiFi 7 from the RS700
  7. You both have Early Access and can see the latest version there with the changes made: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/57223-new-firmware-r3-dumaos-40402-disconnections-fix/
  8. Yes Portugese is an option but it looks like it has detected it for you and set it to be used
  9. You can do that, it could certainly eliminate the hub renewing the XR potentially causing a disconnect. I more meant set reserved IPs for the devices connected to the XR in the XR DHCP page
  10. It's unlikely it was that twice, unless it's renewing each device at different times depending on when their lease first started but surely not. Do give them a reserved IP, keep DHCP enabled and see if it happens again.
  11. https://forum.netduma.com/topic/57039-new-r3-firmware-dumaos-40290/ but there are more in Early Access which I've now given you access to: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  12. Okay please email [email protected] with a link to this topic and your order number
  13. That router would have those details pre-setup for you, especially if they restrict access to the interface. Worth double checking with them if you require anything specific to connect to the modem or if they require you to use their router - if they do, then it might be that if you copy the MAC address of the spectrum router and make the R2 use that you can trick it into working.
  14. Unfortunately after a reboot the logs are wiped, if it happens again check if you can access using the mobile app
  15. No that's not something that has happened
  16. It's not really a problem per se - game servers don't respond to pings very well so we're trying to workaround it but yes others will have it too
  17. I don't think that would be necessary or really help in this scenario
  18. Does Network Monitor detect any traffic? Does the Device Manager show the devices online? Have you put your PC in the DMZ or made a Traffic Controller rule for it?
  19. That's good to hear, thanks for the update, do let us know if it happens again
  20. They should be on by default but if you look at the router dashboard you'll see the RGB Controls panel on the right side, you can change it all from there. You can't buy any but if you email we can sort you out. If you think they're broken it's likely they've just popped out of place.
  21. Yes that would probably work just fine. It's always possible but I wouldn't have thought so, however: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 2.4GHz specifically for stability, 5GHz for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ See if that helps at all. Also sounds like you're leaving the router interface open, close it once you've made any necessary changes then see how you get on. The appearing/disappearing is because although the device is connected, if the internet isn't being used actively it's very sensitive and will then show offline, as soon as activity is detected it'll switch back.
  22. You're not using a router in front of the XR so you can ignore that part
  23. If you click ok does it allow you to continue using the Geo-Filter? Does it appear when loading the page or when clicking an option? What firmware version are you on?
