If you do what I mentioned there will be no double NAT. Also the internet will work about the same, there is no real performance benefit of PPPoE over DHCP or negative having another router handle PPPoE in addition to another router. The difference is minimal, perhaps 1ms which would make no difference to gameplay or internet quality.

Try the steps I mentioned to see if the VPN actually applies or not

Leave the R3 in DHCP, put the R3 WAN IP in the TIM DMZ, then you could restart the R3 and get internet

There won't be a double NAT issue if the R3 is put in the DMZ of the router handling PPPoE.

This wasn't for the R3 but what is it exactly that isn't working? It would be better to make your own topic so we can focus on you there

Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How do you have SmartBOOST/Congestion Control set?

It doesn't work for HTTPS which is what most websites now use. You can try to use the Adblocker and add the domains/URLs you want to block which may be more effective but it wasn't designed specifically for that function

Yes you would get strict/moderate NAT using a VPN, that's expected. If using a DNS address didn't give you an strict/moderate NAT then I would say that it wasn't really VPNing your connection at all. Google my ip with the DNS on default, then do the same with the DNS set, do they match? Are you able to connect the PlayStation via ethernet to see if it still happens?

Okay well that's the issue, it has all the available servers listed so the router doesn't know which one to use. You'll need to remove all but one of the route line entries to select that server and then it should connect and work better.

It has been added back in the latest Early Access update so must have been a regression. Yeah that would be a good idea, thanks! Yes it should work just the same, all it needs to do is to allow you to add the PC to the Geo-Filter without having to select a specific game. I do like that idea and I'll certainly pass it onto the team!

Does the Geo-Filter show servers with that same console/device added? When playing does Network Monitor show traffic for that same device? Have you done any port forwarding rules for the device or put it in the DMZ? Have you done a Traffic Controller rule for the device?

If you use the radius mode and cover a few more servers, just say the entire West coast do you get the same issues?
