No internet rules, VPN, DMZ, static routes etc?
-
Given the disconnect doesn't last long and there isn't any other reason for it I think it must be DHCP and it's still renewing the lease when it should be disabled. I think it's worth doing the TFTP method just in case there is an issue in boot. If it continues I'd try it with AP mode, I know you don't want it in that configuration but it would at least rule out the hardware being the issue.

There are only two firmware versions available for the V2 so your options are limited but they can both be found here: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/xr1000v2/#download I'd suggest reupgrading the firmware using the TFTP method, this bypasses the boot process and any issues there then once done do a factory reset for the freshest install possible: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/54949-dumaos-is-not-running/?do=findComment&comment=407569 then see if it continues. Without log information it's very hard though to determine the cause. I know you said devices connected to the NG, your PC and phone, are there any other devices connected to it that have the issue or have you tried connecting other devices to the NG that then do get the same issue? Is there any pattern emerging as to what you're doing on the network etc as to when the disconnect occurs? Time of day, amount of people/devices online, the type of network traffic etc.

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540

If the speed drop would affect you then better to have your ISP modem/router handle PPPoE -
What settings have you done in an attempt to get an Open NAT?

Okay yeah that's fine, depending on your speeds they might be a bit lower but other than that should be fine -
Almost certainly ISP congestion in that scenario then, not much you can do other than switch ISP to one that isn't as common in your area. Yes you can use the Geo-Filter for that purpose

I haven't heard anything, doesn't mean it's not done though, I'll check in with the team on Monday -
Could you get the logs again please as if it's not DHCP it should point to something else. Are you changing the Geo-Filter settings during play? If you do continue anyway does it let you in?

XR500 interface not Loading when signing in.

Could be a DNS issue on your PC specifically or the browser isn't resolving it correctly, shouldn't be connected to any larger issues -

Glad to hear that helped you. There are lots of options on the router, making them all really visible would be quite chaotic and wouldn't be very user friendly or appealing to use. It is an advanced option though which is why that specifically is hidden behind a toggle. -
As only 1Gbps is supported this is the maximum value you can enter and is the value you should enter. What is your ping during the day? It sounds like ISP congestion and so during non peak times is when it plays better Does your ping change when this happens? How do you have SmartBOOST set?

We're aware of PO not working reliably currently and looking into it, adjust Congestion Control manually for the moment

Are you connected via ethernet or WiFi when this happens? Are you accessing via routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 and do you notice a difference with either? -
NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Could you clarify what you mean exactly? -
No it should be fine, it's just for the Geo-Filter, SmartBOOST will still apply normally
-
It definitely should have worked, try running through the process again. You can find the firmware versions here: https://support.netduma.com/firmwares/netduma-r3/

M1 MacBook Pro Internet Speed Slower than iPhone 13 Mini
Netduma Fraser replied to Resist's topic in Community Discussion
The public version of that firmware version or the beta version I listed? The router yes, typo, you don't need to connect them all specifically again, factory reset and make the WiFi details the same and they will reconnect themselves -

Could you enable IPv6 in WAN Settings please? Someone yesterday said that resolved it for them
