  1. We usually suggest starting at 70% and experimenting from there. Networking has so many variables, even if you don't specifically change anything doesn't mean other things don't change that could impact you.
  2. Given it's only a problem when you use the browser have you tried other browsers?
  3. Provide a screenshot of the analyzer results and I can advise from there. New WiFi or devices in the area either yours or neighbours can make previously stable WiFi on a certain channel unstable. What is 5GHz getting right now in terms of speeds? 2.4GHz is a common WiFi frequency, even wireless headphones could impact it for example, it's best used for stability, not for speed
  4. What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g. XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Can you provide the logs from the System Information page when the issue happens please?
  5. It doesn't depend on your connection method - if you've connected the same device via WiFi instead then it's likely it is appearing on the Device Manager as a different device, you'd need to add that one instead to the Geo-Filter.
  6. Sorry for the late response, by that do you mean you have another router that you're using at the same time? What is your exact physical setup?
  7. Although it's called a beta we actually released it publicly so we're fairly happy with it, you shouldn't encounter any major issues. All you did was enter the speeds you pay for/expect which is what you should do, it wouldn't have any bearing on your 2.4GHz speeds dropping. Try these suggestions: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Ensure the router is in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  8. That would indicate your Geo-Filter could be too large and covers too many servers. Try to just keep the closest/lowest ping servers within your radius. You'll need to fine tune your Congestion Control percentages to get better results on the above as well.
  9. What ping are you seeing on the Geo-Filter/in game when you have this incident?
  10. There aren't really any no-no's in that regard, they largely shouldn't impact each other much. If you have the upstream router in bridge it's essentially disabling the entire router so it wouldn't then impact the XR. Are you using Armor on the XR?
  11. The CPU usage is high but not flat out so I'm surprised if that was causing it, the bandwidth isn't super high either. I know you're doing it for the video but do you have the router interface up for long periods of time?
  12. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
  13. New updates come with lots of fixes including fixes in the background that can all culminate in you having a better experience overall
  14. If it's all working correctly you can just ignore it. It's from the NG side so I don't know what they may have changed to have it report incorrectly
  15. What is the power mode exactly? Presumably LAN 2 is where the R3 is connected to right? Are any other devices connected to the fritz ports? That will happen if you didn't set a reserved IP on the router for the device. If you didn't you'd have to set it on the device itself manually
  16. So it's all working as expected, you're just concerned with the aesthetic of it showing a lower value when it should show the higher value?
  17. Thanks, so you're not changing any settings during that time? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  18. It doesn't mean it's stopped prioritizing, it's just the default view of the screen, it will always prioritize if added and triggered
  19. You can try but I'm not sure it will work. If it doesn't then you can try TFTP but again no guarantees it will work
  20. Could you take me through step by step what is happening between it working and not working please? No detail is too small
  21. I don't think it will be something for us to fix specifically otherwise a lot more people would have mentioned it by now. What other settings on the router have you changed for these two devices? Have you made internet rules allowing all traffic for example?
  22. I would highly suggest you go onto the beta and see if it is any better. It's the last major update for that router and should hopefully be a better experience for you
  23. Well done for figuring out the cause! I wouldn't have thought it'd cause any issues like that but it may well be trying to port forward on the upstream routers for you for example which could be causing it. You're very welcome!
