A factory reset would definitely fix it, I'll then add your name to the list for expansion for the beta and you may see more stability on that version

Ok.  I’m assuming any changes I’ve made will be erased so I will have to manually set them back up after reset correct?

You are on beta firmware and thus issues are expected, please also post issues you're having on beta firmware in the beta section so the devs can take a proper look if needed. Go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.

I've not seen the issue happen for awhile, it may be worth trying the beta version here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51611-new-xr500-beta-firmware-33535/

We've not encountered anyone using those devices so far, I wouldn't have thought so. If you're using Smart Connect it may not like the automatic switching between 2.4/5GHz, usually smart devices just want to be connected to 2.4GHz.

Do a factory reset now, it's quite a big change, it should be fine after that

I ended up doing everything couple times and i was finally able to get it to work. on a separate note, is there a reason why one device would create multple IP address and show up in the "network map" as offline? in the morning i will delete all the offline devices and when i get home from work there are all back with different IP address. ive blocked them and it seems like they just generate new address?

You have to create static IP's for each device, so that it doesn't create another or new IP. If you click on settings in the left hand side > click on LAN > DHCP > You should see all the devices with an area to type in something for each. This is where you can give them a Static IP. Usually what's best is to give them a Static IP OUTSIDE the range (example: 192.168.77.100 - 192.168.77.225) you should see here. Give them below 100 like 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 etc.  Then save. You should be good.

i currently do have static IP's as i figured maybe that would stop it. however, i have them within the range so later i will try again with them outside the range. thanks for the info

Tray was correct but also devices such as phones have an option for Private/Random MAC addresses which would cause that behavior as it essentially makes the router see it as a new device everytime it connects.

Not specifically no but go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.
