vazuh Posted March 28, 2019 Author Posted March 28, 2019 @Danny80916 I used the firmware provided by the level 2 bloke for a day and the drops got even worse than the firmware provided by Christian! They then had to reinstall the newest standard release firmware to be able to do debug logs and ever since the newest firmware was reinstalled I haven’t had a single drop/problem. Literally the problem was solved by itself for no reason.

vazuh Posted March 28, 2019 Author Posted March 28, 2019 Yeah genuinely lost by it! Literally tried reflashing the newest about 10 times and it did nothing before! Every time on the system info it showed a different firmware to which was installed too!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 28, 2019 Administrators Posted March 28, 2019 Keep an eye on it just in case but glad to hear it's been resolved!

vazuh Posted April 6, 2019 Author Posted April 6, 2019 @Danny80916 since the reflash of the .10 firmware I haven’t had any issues that I have seen. All the beta firmwares they provided were useless for me and contained more problems than the public release firmwares!
Danny80916 Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 just twice so far not while steaming or anything .
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 6, 2019 Administrators Posted April 6, 2019 Okay well do keep us updated please, if it becomes a persistent problem would recommend you open a ticket with NG
Danny80916 Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 I have a ticket with netgear they told me not to worry about it, there firmware team told me to wait that very very soon a new one would be coming out to fix all problems .
allsgood Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 I'm at routerlogin.net, and get the following message over and over with no progress: "DumaOS not loaded yet! Don't worry we will redirect you shortly." Well... "shortly" is turning into all day and I don't have a way to move forward...

Or just a specific device? Can you still get Internet through the WiFi connection?
Maria James Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Please check that the firmware of the router is updated or not. Check the cable connection or clear the browser history to access routerlogin.net webpage.
vazuh Posted May 8, 2019 Author Posted May 8, 2019 My router is having intermittent issues. Was given a “custom made” firmware by netgear that worked perfectly for a few days then would have the same issue where I would have to restart my router to connect to the internet then be fine for a couple of days again
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted May 8, 2019 Administrators Posted May 8, 2019 Have you tried this hotfix firmware? https://kb.netgear.com/000060127/XR500-Firmware-Version-2-3-2-32
