They know the spawns, they know the maps, they know the corners to check and the open fields to avoid. They are the upper >5% of gamers who have ridiculous skill and make the game look easy. This thread IS NOT FOR YOU!! Seriously. We know all about the times you have killed more people then the Black Plague and handed out more tea bags then Lipton. This thread is for the rest of us. This is a safe place where we can talk about obvious short-comings. Maybe have a little laugh at the creative side of telling each other how bad we suck. You know, a thread for keeping it humble. My friends, and fellow [Duma] Enlightened members, I'm John Dillinger and I can't throw C4. I am embracing the FPS Confessional and I feel this is an accurate depiction of my CoD skill set. I suck with C4. I play a stupid amount of Black Ops 2 and one of the most overpowered items is the C4 sandwich (shoutout to 402 Thunder). That little green package of death that you can toss 1/3rd of the way across the map and has the blast radius of Hiroshima? I am sure you are familiar with it. To date, I have personally had these events happen to me trying to learn/use this damn thing correctly. I've killed myself via: Detonating too close to me Detonating too close to a vehicle Throwing it at doorway and hitting my own teammate's back (killing myself) Sticking it to any doorway, ledge, window or random solid object (killing myself) Had it shot in the air as I was throwing it (effectively them killing me with my own C4) Thrown it, had a perfect toss (while on the move) and ran into the blast radius (killing myself too) I've also had the following C4 fails: Been killed trying to align my sticks to throw it through a window Been killed trying to align my sticks to throw it over a wall Been killed by placing it and then being in the blast radius when it was triggered by the enemy Thrown it in people's lap and had them live (dud C4) Thrown it in people's lap and had them live thanks to Flak Jacket (Seriously? WTF) Essentially C4 offers me as much advantage as if I were sitting alone in a Turkish prison general assembly, smelling of perfume, after a double feature of area relevant porn was shown. The results no doubt will end with me getting effed in a long enough timeline. Am I the only one? Post your skill-set shortcomings and let's try to remind ourselves here in the community that this is supposed to be "fun" and "entertainment". My name is Dogs, and I am an Obsessive Compulsive Reloader. I’ve played the game long enough to know gun fire attracts bad guys, usually armed, live ones, that I haven’t shot yet. I know I don’t need all 30 bullets in the magazine at all times, but it matters little. If I only fire 1 or 2 shots to get the kill; I know I’ll be hitting the reload button before Tango 1 hits the floor. Unfortunately, my OCRD affliction, more often than not, leaves me exposed for Tango’s 2, 3, 4 and 5 to enter the fray, and end my mean streak of 1. Worse still is the premature reload. As if brain and thumb have a discussion and decide, 'you know Dogs, we think that's been enough shots. They've all been roughly on target, and he really ought to be dead by now, so we're just going to sneak in a reload.' The slow dance that follows, with barrel to the sky, inevitably leads to my death streak increasing by one, and my opponent laughing his tits off! Going all the way back to CoD 2, I'm sure to have amassed over a million kills in Call of Duty, yet I still do this shit! Go figure... lol. Here I am getting toasted by a napalm strike Re spawning and running inside only to burst into flames again by the SAME FLIPPING napalm strike. DOH!!!! Then there was the spawn system of MW3 to contend with. I lock onto helicopter with launcher and just as I press the fire button a team mate spawns in front of me..........with a riot shield on his back....... Did I say DOH!!!!
