PharmDawgg
Maybe try rebooting the R1 from settings/miscellaneous after making the change and clicking apply. Maybe even reboot the devices as well.

Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted December 3, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted December 3, 2016 How are you testing whether it has registered on your computer or console? You won't see the value on your devices change when you change the MTU on the router.
bagsta69
Just out of interest, Why are you wanting to change your MTU?
ColonicBoom
Just out of interest, Why are you wanting to change your MTU? Someone posted in a lag thread the other day suggesting it as a 'fix'. I think it's the new craze in how to 'fix' lag comp but getting the wrong number will just cause fragmented packets. For Xbox you need to have a minimum MTU of 1384 to even play on Xbox Live, I would have thought PS4 was similar.
Slipknot31286sic6
Well as this is apparently a ban frown upon. If u have Comcast use mtu 1492. Input this in ps4, wan, lan. No hit markers on hc... My crew does this..... It's miss information apparently. Says Frazer and changing mtu does nothing.... Test this in hc tdm since u can see assists in that game mode. All I said. But as stated apparently changing or alter mtu is against netduma administration rules. Not liable if u do this. Just sharing My own personal setting. Not at all but you were telling someone to set an MTU of 576 the other day. You don't just pick random numbers for your MTU. I can't wait for this years competition, who is going to be crowned miss information..? Actually i was having problems with one if my cabke boxes and it recommends changing my MTU to 1492. sorry, I wrongly assumed that you were just trying this 'fix' that was posted the other day. Zennon
You start with your default MTU and work down, 28 bytes of this number is reserved for IP/ICMP overhead. So 1472 = a MTU of 1500

Use at your own free will No, just advising incorrect information on a support forum isn't exactly something we want to entertain. ------- So the MTU is saving on the router it just doesn't appear to translate to other devices? Zennon's explanation seems the most likely here.
