Being made host a lot when i play this beta i'm seeing dedi's now and again looking like a hybrid system at the moment this is actually the first cod game when host i actually feel an advantage previous cods up to ghosts hosting for me was fricking bad.

I'll prolly get the game got a ton of nectar points to use up i don't mind the game but i think the quickscoping is completely out of control when i run out of ammo and pick up a gun it's usually a longbow that's how popular it is.

Game will keep me interested until the legend of fps makes a comeback next year then bye bye cod for a while.

If you want good games in COD:IW you need to throttle and I mean throttle hard, 15% sliders and below type.

InfinityWard truly are morons, instead of rewarding an optimized connection they're pulling a MW3 in its first 6 months move, that was to throttle or upload whilst gaming, it's counter productive but it works and although I hate throttling because it ruins the game for everyone, I hope people ruin this game so either IW tweak the netcode or only the supply drop buyers purchase the game.

Do your worst. :)

When you say throttle hard, what speeds (up and down) have you had most success with during testing?

All the way, throttle it down to 0% Upload and 0% Download, literally nobody will be able to kill you.

5% of 120Mbps download

5% of 2.5Mbps upload

A better way i have found is to find your best slider settings for bufferbloat etc then throttle the specific device in dev prio with unticked shared excess, at least then your whole network isnt getting affected.

A7, I had to do that same it's really sad it's needed to have a good experience, I have 30 down /5up and throttle down hard to even 3-5% download and about 10% upload if not it was horrible lag compensation, would struggle to brake even in every match. I have been playing for years and always been over 2.50 k/d player. I did not have this problem with black ops 3, for the most part 70/70 would be alright. The hosts where so weird sometimes I would be connected to the Florida / or Georgia server sometimes it would be all peer to peer connections. Wondering how netduma will adapt and the best settings that will be needed to fight this new connection system they say they have going , should be interesting. The difference is night and day when you would throttle down, would have all 25-30 tdm games with under 10 deaths rather then going 15-15 or negative and say to your self wtf is going on here! :)

How is it you can do that, my wife would appreciate that, she has not complained about throttling yet but sure will soon :)

This is exactly what I did, only didn't untick shared excess. What I did was found the best setting for bufferbloat, then in device prioritization, I slide my ps4 console to 0% for both upload and download. Just didn't try it with shared excess (unchecked) but the results was there. So I know with it unticked it would of been greatly throttled and Infinite Warfare Beta Was definitely giving poor connections that lag comp "cheese"
