SM961
I play mostly S&D and TDM, TDM ping it's ok when I play TDM, but S&D's ping is all over the place. I mean nothing seems to help with this game.
bagsta69
Its also x2 xp weekend which are notorious for bad gaming sessions as I believe the servers get overloaded plus it brings out all the DB's. SnD probably has a much smaller player base which could be part of the problem.
SM961
It seems that server are crap, I'm getting better games without them.
fuzzy clam
Agreed it busted, has been and always will be until they fix all the variables that are online gaming. Which they can do but won't as they need to cater to the people with sub par internet and although they say that the matchmaking will always be connection based LOL.Leave your duma off and see where you get connected too,it always gives me a good laugh. Dillinger
I am probably the only fan of the Black Ops franchise here on the forum and even I think the current version is shit when played on the Dedicated servers. I have been on XB1 for about the last month or so, playing almost exclusively P2P matches, and they are way more fun (for me) than 99% of the games I have played on the dedis. Much like Black Ops 2, I suspect Black Ops 3 will play much better after CoD Champs and the game moves to P2P hosts as the primary matchmaking. Gunzby
The game has been broken since launch my friend... This I've abandoned a COD game 9 months in, but this is the first COD title I abandoned on opening week. With the crazy movements and speed of the game it has a high potential for game breaking lag comp. Add in 3arch's terrible hit detection and it's worse. On top of all that it's just a shitty game. If IW does future warfare I'll abandon COD until they go back to real COD
Torkild
The duma should have a option to force p2p playing If you throttle your connection hard, you will eventually end up beeing p2p i think ..
DARK BAWGS
One day my hit detection is solid next day feels like I'm shooting marshmallow. Are you kidding it is wonderful! - just shitting you! It is terrible on many fronts that I have extolled in previous posts. Now the new DLC Eclipse; I have started a separate post on this subject! bagsta69
The game has been playing so poorly the last 2 weeks that I have not invested in the new maps. The same as previous black ops titles. I did not buy all the map packs for them either. The first map pack was very lack lustre in my opinion and as I have said before, I would prefer for them to spend our money on making the game play better, new or better servers, more servers. MW1 and 2 played fine. It was after the introduction of the gazzillion score streaks and gingerbread cammo for the kiddies that I personally saw the game play suffer. Playing mostly HCTDM my KDR has gone from an average of 2 to 0.6. in the last couple of weeks. I'm not going to blame the R1 as some might do as I am consistently getting into 10MS ping lobbies and exceptional results on all tests. So either my thumbs have fallen off without me realising or they have made some fundamental cock up somewhere on one of the 96 hotfixes they have put out in the last 2 weeks. Zennon
Works great for me xbox one , 17ms base ping no jitter line. The odd out of sync lobby because of a jittery player but I cant control their internet.
Lena
It's been broken since day 1. BO1 is a masterpiece while BO2 and BO3 are a disgrace to the FPS genre You guys should check out Overwatch. I have no doubt in my mind that it'll be the best FPS of the year
Torkild
Yes and no.. There are many great thing's they can do to improve it.. Speed up ticket to 50hz or even 60hz. (for now, you send 50 and recive only 20 back.. THAT's SHIT!) Add more servers and make the server search more local.. After getting the Netduma i can see a clear patter'n when the lag-comp that every one rage about kicks in to your disadvantage. I live i Norway and nearest server (ps4) is in Germany. My ping to that server is 25 ms. If all the players that joins that server are from Sweden, Denmark, Germany and England, the game will run smooth.. But! When some one from France/ Italy/ Turkey/Irland or Spain jonis the game.. It's going to be SHIT and at best very hard to hit the guys that comes from this contry.. Reason beeing that they are to far away from me to give me a good connection on them..
UK_Wildcats_Fans
Dillinger, you are not the only one that like the BO series. I, too, have enjoyed them. For me, BO3 is VERY inconsistent. For the most part, it plays well enough to enjoy the game and have fun. Yes, there is LOTS of room for improvement, but at least I am having fun. ColonicBoom
i like it but i can't deal with the extremely 'international' lobbies
ColonicBoom
and i mustn't forget the issue where if everyone has a 4-bar connection except for one, then that one scumbag with the 3-bar will wipe the floor with everyone. I think the game is fun but I think the maps are truly shit compared to other CoDs. But the connection inconsistencies (and general gameplay inconsistencies) in this game are the worst I've seen in any game. Ever.
Gunzby
It's been broken since day 1. BO1 is a masterpiece while BO2 and BO3 are a disgrace to the FPS genre You guys should check out Overwatch. I have no doubt in my mind that it'll be the best FPS of the year I actually loved blops2 and had a blast playing it. My extreme dislike for blops3 has nothing to do with connection. Like I said, I was out on opening week so I have no real experience with the connection to reference. I just think it's a bad game. If IW comes out with a MW reboot of COD 4, mw2 and 3 I will be all over that. If it's a space game I won't.
