I've been there, lovely place! I would suggest setting your home location in England and then setting a really small radius just to include the UK, I think the UK server is pretty good, I play on it all the time. Make sure you turn Ping Assist to 0 and have strict mode on.

Interesting. Could you post a pic of that? How high does tick rate go?

So its not more consistent on one router rather than the other if dionysus hasn't seen that, I can't see why it would be more stable on one router rather than another. I would speculate this has more to do with the user location and the time of playing e.g. I imagine it might be more sporadic during peak times. I've been following it but I don't think there is anything to be done from our side, I'm not doing the testing though and I know Alex has been following it also and he will test it if he thinks there is an issue there once the CoD cloud has been done so your comments aren't falling on deaf ears.

Some people suggest lowering your bandwidth to stupid low levels but I tested this a while back over ten games and it really made no difference. You may see youtube videos showing that people who do this get really good games but I have yet to see a video showing more than 1 game in a row, even challenged people to do it but had no takers. I think the best you can do is get optimal buffer bloat settings and geo filter, make sure your cables and line are good, sort out any local congestion and you should be good to go.

The tick rate reading is just that, a reading. DumaOS attempts to figure out what the tickrate of the server is. The tickrate is always the same on the server and cannot be changed by anything you do because you do not control the server.
If the tick rate appears to be changing, it is likely just picking up incorrect readings from the server. Gameplay will be unaffected because no matter what DumaOS says, the tick rate on the server is the same for everybody.

I can't tell you this 100% accurate since I am not a dev but I think it has to do with your internet connection. With a 60Hz tickrate, packets are spaced 16.6ms apart. If for some reason there is congestion or other BS on the line the meter will keep jumping all over the place, ie sometimes you recieve 2 packets 8ms apart and then wait 32ms, it will jump from 120hz to 30 hz and so on. I don't know what it exactly counts and how it determines this as it was also found by battle nonsense that the packets are so big sometimes it causes packet fragmentation, it can easily count this as 2 packets etc. And there is the issue of sample rate in DumaOS since the spacing is so narrow and it's updating only once a sec.

Some clarification on the side of the devs would be nice.

I get the cleanest connection when it's just reading steady 60/60 all the time.

FYI: Tick rate is the frequency with which the server updates the game state. When a gaming server has a tick rate of 64, it means that it is capable of sending packets to clients at most 64 times per second. I am guessing the higher the better.

Please could everybody just take a breath, calm down. I can understand the frustrations of having issues but flaming and swearing on the forum will only antagonise people and lead to one result.
Please keep things civil we are all just trying to help.

That server has been found by ping assist. If you only want servers within your radius set ping assist to 0. What ping are you getting to that server? I expect that the sever is actually in Singapore but is incorrectly located in Netduma’s cloud so I would advise leaving ping assist enabled.

The easiest way to tell if your on p2p is that the
Tick rate will be 20-60 on p2p
                                 60-60 on servers

Sometimes if your friends don't have a static IP you mat have to whitelist them again as dynamic ip will mess things up if they reboot their router.

I'm making progress on the Modern Warfare update. I think i've figured out what's causing the problems. Essentially, it's mislocated servers.

I've got 30mb at home which is usually enough. Some of the people at Netduma have like 200mb, i'm well jell.
Prior to 2014 I was stuck with 0.5mb ADSL so I always count my blessings.

Used to have 20mb for upload but BT decided to take it away
I'm about 150m from the cab so on my FTTC line I get the full 55/10... until interleaving kicks in of course *rolls eyes*

Its all about finding slider settings that the game likes... not what makes your line better imho. I just start at 99% and work my way down until I stop getting BS deaths and leave it on that. Worked for me on BOps3, IW and BOps4. WW2 was seriously inconsistent for me but the other games worked perfectly once I found that sweet spot.
99% of the time I'm the only one using my line when I play yet without QoS, the game plays like utter crap... unlike Battlefield V which I played over wifi on an interleaved line with no QoS and got 0 BS deaths or bullet sponges.
Anyways, I've tried throttling til your bandwidth is next to nothing many a time... never worked out well, not once.
I even tried (bar the 'stabilising trick') the 'tricks' DMC has been banging on about and again, no workie.

Yeah there's some people who swear by turning the anti-bufferbloat sliders reeeeal low when they play CoD.
I think what they're experiencing at that point is just an unintentional side effect of the lag compensation. I'd say it's close to cheating.
