I don't play modern cods since personally they're all trash compared to OG ERA but I think this might be do to your cc settings....I have seen the reports and this wouldn't be shocking dude a billion dollar company that is greedy to the core won't spend much of a dime in they're servers just like apex whenever a big patch comes they can't handle the people joining the servers and the server clients are up/down for at least first two weeks. Just my own two cents I play bo4 and the servers did go down like a day or two ago but experience has been fine For cc settings I decrease them and test buffer bloat by looking at connection benchmark while cc is applied on always this can be changed afterwards it just so qos is active to see differences

If you want to disable it all wireless signals just go to advanced settings wireless setup and un-selected the radio signals just like image below if you dont want any lights to appear on but be on still giving signal then go to led control settings

If your referring to the led light it on by default it basically first thing that on don't know why... that probably the way it was designed I would guess it goes from 5hz then 2.4ghz protocol activating and then it goes to the network and so on.... There no way your connected to 5ghz since hard resetting shuts all signals so at this point you make no sense

u using an xr1000? interference look a little different That might be because the port is already being utilized by another device so you can't add several devices with the same port etc at that point just use upnp that the side effect of port forwarding you can only port one device per port

Sounds like Xfinity issues to me if your using they’re crappy router/modem wish you luck bud…that thing has the highest failure rate from my experience even new ones go bad pretty quick plus your losing money paying for they’re equipment

Dude look up how to setup r2 on YouTube same procedure you need to test your own internet and figure out what best it all about about your congestion control feature for the majority that really what affects hit detection. I’d recommend 30% or lower but might not be needed all depends on how good ur internet is etc. To test your bufferbloat apply always on the cc and then do connection benchmarks and look at ping underload try to decrease that as much as possible that what really affects hit detection. You’ll still have to watch out for high ping servers there not much too it that why you setup geofilter properly. if your on console just add games console under traffic prioritization and disable DumaOS classified on the xr1000 it doesn’t always prioritize properly As for smart qos from my understanding it is somewhat better but that includes adding your cc and still depends upon being able to register your device properly it not a marginal difference but it is better it does make it easier for people like yourself that don’t look anything up and does the job automatically which is probably the reason they made it to make it more user friendly

Dude it doesn't generally matter just use whatever you like it all based on whatever servers are near you that will give the best data and if you want to get the most accurate speeds just connect straight to modem or whatever you have

There not going to be a major difference I own both routers the only difference is probably packet transferring which means it able to handle data more efficiently plus has better wifi you have to have set qos properly for good hit detection but it never perfect the ideal buffer should be around 10-15ms under under load as it referred as buffer bloat

I BELIEVE YOUR PROBLEM IS CLEAR AS DAY HOMIE YOUR NOT UTILIZING CONGESTION CONTROL AT ALL THAT WHAT WE CALL QOS YOU HAVE IT SET TO NEVER YOU NEED TO CHANGE THAT TO AUTO ENABLE IN ADDITION YOU SHOULD CHANGE YOUR SPEEDS BY CLICKING ON THE 3 SLASHES IF NEEDED CONGESTION CONTROL IS BASICALLY THE TOOL THAT LOWERS YOUR LATENCY/PING

Reykc9510 This is something you have to personally test yourself as stated but if your a console player I recommend manually prioritizing your device under traffic prioritization just like this just cause dumaos classified doesn't always prioritize properly as for congestion control anything below 50% should show definite improvements on hit reg mines personally are below 20% but it only active when I game which is why it set on auto enable to get the most responsive experience and when it off i get full bandwidth for all devices. Warning going too low on upload can have make it worst this is what I found to work for me without increasing the buffering The only time you want qos is when your doing VoIP communication like gaming etc

PERSONALLY DON'T USE PING ASSIST IT NOT 100% ACCURATE JUST USE THE POLYGON MODE OR CIRCLE MODE AS YOU JUST NEED TO KNOW WERE THE LOW PING SERVERS ARE LOCATED FOR THE MOST PART IT ALL IN THE SAME AREA SINCE ALL COMPANIES USE SIMILAR DATA CENTERS. THE REASON PING I SAY THIS ABOUT PING ASSIST IS BECAUSE IF YOU FIND A SERVER WITH 30 PING AND SET IT TO 30 IT WON'T CONNECT THEREFORE IT A GIMMICK SINCE YOU HAVE TO SET IT HIGHER AND IT CAN POSSIBLY CONNECT YOU TO A BAD PING SERVER THAT MY PERSONAL OPINION IF YOU LIKE IT THEN KEEP USING IT WHATEVER WORKS. ALSO I SEE THAT YOU'VE BEEN HAVING PING ISSUES IT CAN POSSIBLY BE ISP BUT I STILL RECOMMEND MANUALLY QOS YOUR SETTINGS ANYTHING BELOW 50% WOULD PROBABLY SHOW IMPROVEMENTS ESPECIALLY UPLOAD SINCE THAT THE MOST USEFUL WHEN IT COMES TO GAMING PLUS YOU HAVE PLENTY OF BANDWIDTH. MY BEST GUESS IS HE PUT A STATIC IP ON THE CONSOLE AND THE IP REFRESHED ON THE ROUTER AND SO HE NEEDS TO FORGET THE IP ON THE CONSOLE SINCE IT GIVING AN INVALID IP AND SO HE WONT HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET I WOULD RECOMMEND IP RESERVING IF YOUR SETTING A STATIC IP
