Ip adress of authentication server of warzone 2
DARKNESS replied to NeoKot's topic in Call of Duty Support
@NeoKotIf it an authentication that something you set up with your account on the psn has nothing to do with netduma would guess it be a phone number or something you need to verify through email you can contact activision and see what you get back but it might possibly be either a ban or server related issues. My best guess is they could be forcing 2 step authentication just like garbage Overwatch 2 though I ain't wasting my time even touching those games so good luck fella -
@KingzzyAlso what you said is a false statement lag compensation does not affect ping/distance...what it actually affects is the lag of your character model in a game it tries to sync the perspective of both players to be exactly the same next time do some research before making statements
-
@KingzzyI guess so buddy so if I am playing 300 ping it the same as 1 ping 😂
-
@KingzzyI never said it acts on the trace route I said it not needed if your routing is close to a data center since your latency is non existent why do you think all this Youtubers live next to a data center and act like they're good at playing with no ping 😂
-
@davemarsden132There is one more factor to add as where qos is not needed and that is the travel time of packets from servers so if you live near a server it not needed at all since the packets don't travel far and so efficiency isn't required in those instances
-
@davemarsden132That makes literally no sense as to the people that say not to use qos...you need qos in order to have packets transfer efficiently without it affecting your network/ping that the reason qos was created in the first place also qos isn't part of netduma it is created by several users globally and they're different variations similar to it and everyone understands the benefits. The only time it wouldn't be necessary is if your running like 5-10G PLUS Internet infrastructure but even then there some buffering and that were QOS comes in to get rid of that issue though realistically speaking you'll be spending a lot more than that just do to the limitation of the Netduma QOS and it might be OK to not use qos if your not having users hog the bandwidth/affect latency do to that though I'd be surprised if that was the case on a 5-10G lane infrastructure 😂

Matchmaking issue with Geo-filter
DARKNESS replied to Kyle's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@KyleI was able to get a ping on mobile phone though only when on a game so I do believe it only when your in the game you'll get a ping on the map it doesn't work for general browsing as that would inherently affect your performance so there can be a possibility of some games not working -
Matchmaking issue with Geo-filter
DARKNESS replied to Kyle's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@KyleI think it be a lot easier if you can send a short clip of both you booting to the game and looking at the geo map side by side and one once your in a match -

@KyleIt only going to show up if your on a match or boot game and some servers should appear temporarily -
XR450 gets no love?!
DARKNESS replied to agent47isn1's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@agent47isn1That one of the biggest issues is when they make two models of the same unit however they aren't actually the same in code which complicates things and that were you see some of the reasoning for updates being delayed...it really a waste of resources when one unit isn't actually the same but is classified as if it the same on netgears page Such as the XR1000 which don't run the exact same hardware I believe it a somewhat downgrade on the V2 model I forget the specifics but it really negligible but still something to point out...If i remember correctly the v2 came out because they were lows on resources to make the V1 model etc -
Internet overall seems worse while using duma.
DARKNESS replied to HoodedMenace's topic in Netduma R2 Support
@HoodedMenaceDid you check your bufferbloat and tweaked your cc settings? -
@XûrWell there should be a beta coming eventually which should allow to test if they’re bugs before the official release…So I’d say it best to test it so that everyone that gets the official firmware runs a stable version etc since it clearly takes a while for them to patch and couldn’t say if they’ll be future patches. Just from the looks of things just my personal view I am not affiliated with anyone I just give feedback upon the products.
-
@XûrThat should be all fixed with upcoming patch and should be getting hybrid vpn that am aware which is a feature that's only missing on the XR1000 ironically....I have been testing the new dpi with my R2 and running it behind the XR1000 and it pretty much night and day difference when it comes to getting the right priority of course that because of the addition of a newer dpi engine that cloud based which should be getting added to all XR models once they all get 3.3. Furthermore I have been adding plenty of games so unless your playing a game not many people play you would have to send data for them to add it etc ...I personally don't play destiny so couldn't say much on that game and that just do to the grind potato system+paid to win but as for cod it has been a much better experience

Work at home Traffic Prioritization?
DARKNESS replied to D3mon1c's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@D3mon1cIn short it anything to do with like calls/meetings in online networking I know I am not being specific as to the apps since I am too lazy to go into my XR to pull the list but some are Skype Zoom Google Meet I believe there's face time though I forget so I am not sure though I know it supported now on the R2 with lastest DPI which should be passed on the next update -
SmartQoS Version 4 like having AimBot!
DARKNESS replied to TODDzillaInLA's topic in Call of Duty Support
@FuzyThat ain't saving your router bud 😂 I would guess maybe from a couple of packets but most users just full on assault you knowing they're frying there own network since there basement dwellers -
SmartQoS Version 4 like having AimBot!
DARKNESS replied to TODDzillaInLA's topic in Call of Duty Support
@johnnytranAs stated before people use it do to how rigged the system is if your a youtuber on the top your on a whitelist given bots lobbies this is how you typically see them go on streaks when in reality they would be getting stomped you could argue they're cheating as well do to that known fact that activision will deny but when documents get leaked it what everyone already knew....As for ddos attacks that is still extremely common you just have to meet the old booty loser in a lobby with his mouse and keyboard plus a cronus zen on console to already know there cheating and will cry if you shit on them without any cheats 😂 Also a dynamic IP doesn't protect you it only a temporary measure and not everyone has the ability to have dynamic IP do to ISP restrictions and becomes more a hassle when you get to talk to some indian dude/female that doesn't know crap about anything -
@KylePersonally for me it wasn't too accurate so it best to just add your device under traffic prioritization in order to take full advantage of priority if it a gaming console you just classify it as a games console and it should pretty much prioritize all traffic when gaming...the reason I say this is because from my experience dumaos classified wouldn't detect the games console from time to time and so that meant it wasn't getting priority and so making the rule forced it to be prioritized. Though on next update I believe they should be pushing the same cloud update as on the R2 which I have been beta testing and it way better at detecting games more efficiently though it requires feedback since it still not perfect and I've been adding games and pending to test them as they keep making changes too it...so on next update you should be getting near perfect traffic detection
-
@KyleAnother thing when testing your connection benchmark to see the results you need to apply always on the cc you can change this after by having it on auto enable if you prefer to only use it when it detects your gaming traffic and just want to use full speeds when your not gaming.
