Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you've been experiencing this problem. We are working on this issue dilligently and have developed new internal tools to help us log more information when the issue occurs as well as troubleshoot the root cause of the issue further. Unfortunately it's just a very complex issue that can be difficult to replicate. Are you able to access the dumaOS interface when you experience a disconnection? Does the connection restore itself or do you need to manually reboot the router to get it back up?
-
OK so to be clear you're having trouble with your NAT type in-game? If you disable filtering mode in Geo-filter temporarily and search for a game, do you still have the same issues? Have you reserved the IP for the R1 in the modem's settings? If not, it's possible this will have changed so it's worth checking what the WAN IP is listed as in DumaOS System information, then compare it against the IP that's in the modem's DMZ.
-
OK thank you, are you seeing the same issue with all ovpn files from Nord? Could you perhaps try a different one and see if you're getting the same issue?
-
Are you able to access the ONT's interface? If so, reserve an IP for the R2 and put this IP in the DMZ. Then reboot the R2 and see if the disconnections continue.

ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Liam replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
Nothing new as yet I'm afraid, it's still on our roadmap but I don't have an ETA for it. -
Does Hybrid VPN show as being connected? Could you please double check that the password you're entering for your NordVPN account is correct?
-
Ah I see - thanks. Unforuantely, that feature is no longer implemented in DumaOS as not many games use peer-to-peer matchmaking anymore. The 'Choose manually' option essentially lets DumaOS work out what game you're playing so you don't need to change the profile everytime you switch games. You should see it as another option when you're prompted to select which game you're playing.
-
No problem @OzQuant, thanks for feeding back! I know what you mean with the scrolling in Geo-filter, we're working to optimise that! Where is this bar chart you're referring to, in Geo-filter? You should see the current network statistics of the peer/server you're connected to in Geo-filter. You can use the Destiny(PC) feature for Xbox, though it's probably much easier to just select 'Choose manually' and let is identify the game traffic itself!
-
OK so you're connected directly to an ONT? What router did you have before the R2? If you connect this back to the ONT then connect the R2 to the old router, does the R2 still disconnect?
-
Thanks for confirming, have you experienced another disconnect after changing the lease time as I mentioned above? Are all devices disconnecting or is this limited to Wi-Fi devices?
-
Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear this, are you still able to access the DumaOS interface when the disconnections occur? Could you please go to Network Settings -> LAN -> DHCP and set the Lease time to 168 hours, then reboot the R2 from the three-dot menu in the top right?
-
We have everything we need from you now thanks, we're just waiting on an additional step required internally for us to access your R1. Once this is done we'll let you know what we've found or if we need anything else!
-
No problem at all! I've made the team aware from your suggestion in the other thread so we'll look into that!

How to use Geo Filter on Destiny 2 Now
Netduma Liam replied to Jayco93's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
A ping assist server is a server that is outside of your radius but has not been blocked because the ping it offers is below your ping assist value set in the bottom right of the Geo-filter map. You can see the icon for these in the legend on Geo-filter. -
How to use Geo Filter on Destiny 2 Now
Netduma Liam replied to Jayco93's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
There may still be some servers that we need to manually whitelist so you don't have to manually allow these in Geo-filter. If you do find servers that you need to do this with, let us know and we can amend that in a cloud update. If you disable strict mode, dedicated servers will no longer be filtered but peers will. As Destiny works via server-based matchmaking now, you will want to leave strict mode enabled. -
Geo-filter - "Uncaught Unmatched Device"
Netduma Liam replied to Jayco93's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Sorry to hear this! Are you seeing this issue in all browsers? If you open the interface in an incognito windows, are you still getting this error? Do you have any browser extensions enabled such as an adblocker? If so, could you please temporarily disable them to see if they're causing the problem? -
Hey @Swgohlegend, that's great, thanks. We should be able to access it now and will let you know what we find.
-
OK, could you please put your R1 in the modem's DMZ and report back, that should mean we can then access it.
-
The devs still don't appear to be able to access your R1, could you please confirm that you've got access for remote support enabled and your R1 is in the upstream modem's DMZ?
-
That model is running a Broadcom SOC so you're all good there. Have you experienced any further crashed since Fraser's latest advice?
-
What the model of the Arris modem? I'll see if I can look it up.

Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Liam replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
It may just be the servers in the UK go offline around that time as it's no longer considered peak playing hours, As Fraser mentions this will likely be a different story on weekends. -
Welcome R2 owners! We want your feedback!
Netduma Liam replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Welcome to the forum! I've responded to your email earlier today. To be totally clear, it's not a case of us not wanting to process a replacement, we just need to confirm that it's not something we can resolve through configuration changes. For a similar reason, It's also not always guaranteed that a replacement will be a solution, hence why we can seem apprehensive to do so. -
Unfortunately I think this is present on both original release and beta firmware. I remember you saying you also have issues with the BT IGMP IPTV so I'll chase this up internally to see where we are with both of these issues.

The XR500 is capable of over 2.4gbps over Wi-Fi, but it still uses gigabit ethernet ports. The R2 is also limited to gigabit over wired and wireless.
