Welcome R2 owners! We want your feedback!

To force servers you need to put Ping Assist to 0. Also you've put a polygon around the Netherlands only, not sure how many servers there are there. I'd recommend doing a polygon like this, includes France, Netherlands and Germany which should give you a good ping. -

Yes I know. We are in the UK as well. As there are a lot of servers in Europe we are lucky we can try other servers in different countries without a huge increase in ping and they may play better for you than a UK server. -

No it's very unlikely, more like you just need to find a server that works for you. A lot of people force servers that aren't necessarily the closest. -

Worth trying both but go for France first. -

Hey, welcome to the forum! You both now have access. It is not yet available for the 450 but when it is it will be available here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Pro-Gaming-DumaOS-3-0/bd-p/en-home-beta-npg-duma That's because you're using a mobile web browser to view the interface which isn't supported. I would recommend you download the DumaOS app on the iOS app store or access it via a PC and it will work. Please also post any issues you have in the Netgear beta community. -

I'd exclude the UK and that server and make a polygon over France and Germany, just do it yourself, the profile just makes a set range basically. That server is required for authentication, it's required for online play and has no bearing on your game ping. -

Don't just expand the filter as you could get the same one again, actually move the home location so the radius excludes the one you were playing on and you force a new number. You can try Ping Assist but again would likely get you the server you're already on. It's unlikely but its always a possibility. -

It could be the game itself because they may have high server load, you can have a low ping that is not stable. It might be that the hub is connecting you with a server further away but because the ping is more stable you have a better experience. By forcing different servers you can find the one that works best, try it out and see what it feels like in game. -

It won't be lower, you can get a very good ping to France for example but it doesn't matter if your ping is really low if it is spiking to 100. Far more important is a consistent ping so you may get a more stable experience on a server slightly further away. -

The in game ping jumps to that or the Geo-Filter ping does? Try forcing some other servers slightly further away as they may offer a more stable experience. -
Tengo de NAT 2 y Moderada y la quiero Nat Abierta
Netduma Fraser replied to LuisCadavid's topic in NETDUMA Español
- Sorry I don't understand the translation. If you disable the Geo-Filter first prior to turning on the game/console do you get an open NAT. In game ping and the Geo-Filter ping will be different but the Geo-Filter ping is what you can affect - lower this and the in game ping will also lower. -

Your location won't be shown on the Geo-Filter, just where the server is. The tick rates is the amount of time you send/receive updates from the server, you can't change this, it is just down to the server. You have a very good ping! -

Sorry to hear that happened. We have a new firmware due out this week that should be more stable so keep an eye out for when that drops and let us know if you experience it again on that version.
