Hey, welcome to the forum! When you say you don't think it is doing anything what do you mean exactly? Are you experiencing lag? What is the average ping as shown by the Geo-Filter? -

That isn't available at the moment but will be available in the future. -
Te he agregado ahora, deberías poder acceder a la sección beta e instalar el firmware.
-
Te he dado acceso, puedes descargarlo desde aquí: - I have given you access, you can download from here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/130-dumaos-30-beta-netduma-r1/ @QuillP Eso es muy extraño. Sí, si quieres que un dispositivo tenga más ancho de banda, eso es lo que haces. - That is very strange. Yes if you want a device to have more bandwidth that is what you do.

That is fantastic! Automatic channel changing will actually be in the next firmware. Those are some really good statistics!! -
- Did you disable QoS on DumaOS completely from the Congestion Control 3 line option menu to see what speeds you get? Bandwidth Allocation just gives bandwidth allocation to devices, it doesn't assign priorities per se. Hyper Traffic is designed for low latency traffic, if you were to put a download or stream there for example then it would severely impact other devices as it would supersede QoS.

We'll have a new firmware soon that will improve WiFi but for now here are some suggestions: Disable Mirror Mode for WiFi and name 2.4/5GHz separately Use a WiFi analyzer and find the least congested channel for 2.4/5GHz and then change to that in WiFi settings Connect to 5GHz when doing things like watching video etc What speeds do you pay for/receive? Speeds on Connection Benchmark will be improved so doesn't matter too much what you get here atm if you get a good speedtest.net result for example Could you post your Connection Benchmark results please? Speedtest.net ping doesn't mean that is what your game ping will be. What is your average ping as shown by the Geo-Filter? -

ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
That's really impossible to say as it depends on how many issues are found during the beta. -
Slingshot was referring to the XR500 but you now have access to the R1 beta which is available to download and install.

I get your frustration, we are much closer to having the beta available. I would envisage just a few more weeks if all goes to plan. Hey, welcome to the forum! That link says to use .32 to fix the security update - the latest pre beta version is .56. XR500 is also in Open Beta at the moment so you can try 3.0 and help us find bugs. The latest firmware there has been removed for the moment while we fix a connectivity issue but we'll put another up soon. -
Adblocker unwanted block reporting thread

Click Whitelists on Adblocker, click domain for type and then try *.zoom.com and see if that works. -
That would be quite hard to do, to try and differentiate what players are in your party - they won't always be connected directly to you but sometimes via a server. Also we can't determine what the quality of their connection is to attempt to get a server that will be the best for you all. Just putting your location in between you all is the easiest option I think.

ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
You don't need an invite anymore as that forum is open to the public, we'll post a new firmware there when available. We do test the firmware before releasing it, being in a lab environment for a few users and a home environment for many there will be things we don't detect. I've responded to your topic. -

ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
It's in open beta now so you can access it here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Pro-Gaming-DumaOS-3-0/bd-p/en-home-beta-npg-duma -
Then I would suggest putting the Geo-Filter location/radius in a place that is in between you both so you both get a decent ping. The router just works based on your settings not any one elses so that's why its a good idea to place it in between you both so neither of you suffer and would force you both on that server.

Double click the zip file to open it and then when it opens drag the .img file out to another folder. -

@Albeno it would have been downloaded as a zip file, did you extract the .img file from the zip and then upload the .img file? -
I'd recommend just one of you use the Geo-Filter - whoever is the party leader, then you can use that method but use Strict Mode. Yes you could use the Polygon mode and PA at the same time, strict on.
