When did the issue start exactly, after changing a setting, rebooting, updating etc? Are you on the Early Access firmware or the public release? Make sure your web browser isn't forcing HTTPS, clear your browser cache/cookies and then refresh the page.

question about port forwarding
Netduma Fraser replied to David824's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You can absolutely do that if you wish to but the more ports you open the more you're exposed and the more it poses a security risk, so I would recommend not doing that but you can make fewer rules by forwarding some ports in between two values, for example, Warzone 2 uses these ports (among others): 27014-27050 TCP 27000-27031, 27036 UDP So instead of making 3 separate rules you could just do one: 27014 - 27050 Also you don't need to port forward port 80/88/443 and I would advise not to. -
What firmware version are you on currently? Go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.

Okay that's fine, if you do speedtest.net what ping do you get there?

Ping Heatmap Not Working for MW2
Netduma Fraser replied to cljackhammer's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Does Warzone 2 work at all? If so they use the same servers so you can go off that, if not they won't have moved so you should receive the same general ping as you usually do and we'll update it on Monday -
You should use the speeds you expect/receive doing a wired speedtest on speedtest.net, reason being Benchmark uses different servers and they don't always report closely to what you receive

I have higher Latency using R2, less without.
Netduma Fraser replied to Infoseye's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Yes they would, otherwise you can find it in the hub settings -
This will be better once we push a DPI update which we're working on now so keep as is for the moment

You'll have to click WAN Setup then skip and enter the information you need in Settings -
I can't find much on that model, is it a pure modem i.e. it doesn't provide any WiFi? Do you know if you use PPPoE, VLAN or DHCP identifiers? The base ping pings the Google servers so depending on when the test is run and your routing to those servers it may change

XR1000 | Open NAT Type on Multiple Consoles?
Netduma Fraser replied to P4UL's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Keep us posted! There isn't a specific modem that needs to be used, a modem just passes the internet straight through to the device/router connected to it so it doesn't need to do anything special so any should work just fine. -
Reoccurring Unknown Device
Netduma Fraser replied to Zaroo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It indicates there was an unsuccessful internet connection attempt so you were disconnected and it failed to reconnect, it could just be the case that the modem needs a reboot if it hasn't had one in awhile. The attacks may not necessarily be attacks but rather the modem/ISP view misinterpret it as one which causes it to disconnect. The best thing is to check with the ISP - don't mention the router as it's irrelevant and they may blame that, you have the disconnects while connected to the modem so that's on them to figure out why really. -
Hey, welcome to the forum! This is exactly what Congestion Control was designed to prevent - devices being able to saturate the network and impact other devices so the best way to combat this is to reduce the Congestion Control slider for Upload to say 70%, see if that improves it for you. There isn't a way to currently limit one device without limiting other devices at the same time but it has been suggested before so it's possible that will be implemented in the future.

Great news! Don't deny the peer, that is your game server, it is a server based game so any peers you see on the map when playing are likely to be the servers. You can also tell by the domain name, choopa is a dedicated server. -
Hey, welcome to the forum! Once you've been added to the group you'll see a new sub forum on the main page and you can then download it from there.

Are ALL devices connected to the R2 or do you have some still connected to the BT hub? Reduce your radius to just cover the UK server, is your ping lower then? -
