If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. You should get an Open NAT then with either UPnP or port forwarding on the R3.

Okay let us know if you see it on the new version, make sure to do a factory reset also

Could a Windows Update cause problems?
Netduma Fraser replied to JHuntVols's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Either an issue on the ISP side then or it's just the max you can achieve at the time, the speed may vary throughout the day depending on the time you test it -
Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. As for the ping it might be a relay server, as in there is a server close by you're connecting to that is connecting you to London and the router is reading the ping the relay server

No .23 was from before the holidays on the first week of launch. The issue is actually a regression which is actually a good thing as we identified the internal version it was introduced in and so can work backwards from there to identify what changed.

You only need to use it if you require it for internet, otherwise its not needed
-
The team have identified the error it is causing when trying to do so, I expect they'll fix it relatively quickly

Could a Windows Update cause problems?
Netduma Fraser replied to JHuntVols's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The gateway will test directly to the ISP so it won't hit the open internet which is why it tests higher. Speedtest.net is more accurate of what speeds devices will see, try other speedtest sites just to make sure -
That would be perfect thank you, have a good evening too!
-
That shouldn't be necessary but you can do so if you wish
-
If you're connecting the R3 to the fritz then you shouldn't need to enter VLAN on the R3. What are you trying to achieve? What isn't working exactly?

They could be, it's quite possible. Easiest way to tell if it's an issue on their side is test direct to the ISP modem/router, do you get expected speeds? -
What do you want supported in DumaOS?
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Liam's topic in Community Discussion
I can add that to the list! -
Future of Dumaos R&D...
Netduma Fraser replied to Krush's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
That would be really cool, pretty expensive I imagine and probably the answer would be its an unnecessary expense when you can use your phone -
There will be one this week or early next week

R3 Geo Filter not working as expected
Netduma Fraser replied to SamT98's topic in Community Discussion
Try using the simple Geo-Filter (radius) instead of custom (polygon) as well as what has been mentioned previously. I can request that, we've never done it so I suspect there is a reason for that. -
Thanks, will pass it on
-
We've changed it to just show it as a host on the R3 so nothing to do with any of those things
-
Good advice above, try this process which includes the above. Quit the application/game/client completely - including from the System Tray Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better.

It won't tell you specifically but for CoD it uses dedicated servers only as far as I am aware, maybe P2P if you can't connect to any servers whatsoever but that would be rare
-
If you don't want to pick specific devices just add the services/applications you care about like Gaming, Video etc and that's it!

Server host country - how to see it?
Netduma Fraser replied to nuno10costa's topic in Netduma R2 Support
The biggest icon on the map is always the host of the game so yes that's Spain. Servers with solid white circles around them mean you've added it to your allow list or most likely in this case we have allowed it as it is an authentication server required for online play. -
Okay let us know how you get on switching to the outlet!
-
I think that's more of a coincidence, it will be unable to ping sometimes but should be improved in coming versions. Not yet, either this week or early next.

The above could work but I will pass this onto the team to have a look at. Is the console wired or WiFi?
