connecting outside of my red zone again
Netduma Fraser replied to Westy147's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. -
Netduma R2 - can it work as an access point?
Netduma Fraser replied to nuno10costa's topic in Netduma R2 Support
There isn't an access point mode on the R2 and if there was the features wouldn't work. You could do what you mentioned though by having it working as a router and also providing WiFi but the ISP router wouldn't be giving IPs to devices connected to the R2, the R2 would handle that. -
Exactly as above, experiment with the percentages to see what gives you the best results. SmartBOOST priorities may interfere with the tests so disable them before doing so.

Can't optimize ping or speed test
Netduma Fraser replied to Millnervfl's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That's exactly how it works. It raises the ping so it absorbs any jitter/spikes you may have otherwise felt and thereby ensuring a constant smooth ping for the entire game. -
Hey, welcome to the forum & thanks for your purchase! There isn't too much you need to do, in terms of plugging everything in, that'll be covered by the guide on the box. The only thing I would suggest is to copy the WAN IP of the R3 from Settings > WAN and enter that into your Hub DMZ function. It's up to you but you can then disable the WiFi on the hub. Make sure ALL devices are connected to the R3 and that's it for physical setup.

That's great to hear, thanks for the update!

Great thanks, I'll pass it onto the team!

It's probably become outdated, thanks for the report, I'll pass it onto the team to update

You can't port forward while using the DMZ at the same time. DMZ sends all traffic through to a device, then with port forwarding you're telling it to pass traffic to somewhere else, it's conflicting information. You can leave UPnP enabled and that will help with any port issues.

In the next version I believe which isn't far off. I suspect that is probably a language update, if you go to Settings > Administration > Firmware Update you may see more information. It's not a proper firmware update though because we haven't been made away of anything new and it's also not listed on their support site which they do update with any official firmware.

No not yet, when it's available you'll see it mentioned

Game Servers Not Showing in Geo Filter
Netduma Fraser replied to Wizzite's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I'll respond to your DM on Twitter -
Interesting, your WiFi is 2.4/5GHz combined or have you split the bands? If so which are you connecting to? Do you notice a difference connecting through either methods?
-
Just to check, if you don't have the booster connected and you change the names/apply a static IP I assume it all works without issue? If so it sounds like an issue with the booster more likely, does it have an interface you can change any settings on? I would assume not. It may be best to contact Telstra about it directly as they may have encountered this before.

Disable all priorities on SmartBOOST, they could be interfering with the tests

Netgear Nighthawk EAX80 AX6000 compatibility
Netduma Fraser replied to Harrypall23's topic in Netduma R3 Support
We haven't specifically tested it but we're not aware of any incompatibilities. There shouldn't be any issues using the two together. -
Exactly as above, if you haven't allowed it then we would have done and will have done so because it's required for online play to prevent people blocking it and being unable to play

Netduma Fraser replied to mcallisterbr69's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Exactly as above, best to change it manually for the moment while we work to improve it.
