Why are my priorities not showing online?
Netduma Fraser replied to Mach3r's topic in Netduma R3 Support
We might need to reclassify the game, prioritize the PC as a device instead of using activities. -
Random disconnects during the day
Netduma Fraser replied to ExcellentZERO's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Yes please, we are looking into the issue as a priority. We have identified a few potential causes, do any of these apply to you: Use of a network switch Use of very long ethernet cables Initiating a large download prior to the disconnect -

Could you try the firmware here please? https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56332-r3-disconnections/?do=findComment&comment=420716 it doesn't seem to have fixed it for people but it may work better for you -
All you need to do is put the R3 in the DMZ on the Asus - you don't need to change any other settings regarding this for NAT. If you disable SmartBOOST fully that will disable Congestion Control fully, 100% is also disabled. Use the mode Always and see if it works better.

I've given you Early Access in case you'd like to try it at some point/keep up to date with progress.

What firmware version are you on and what device are you playing on? -
Ping Optimizer is a function that tests your line with different Congestion Control percentages to see which works best and then you can choose to apply it's recommended percentages to Congestion Control or not. It's not always 100% accurate (this is being re-written for one of the next versions so will be better) and so people chose to experiment with it manually to fine what works best. What do you mean you go to it and it changes at the default values?

Yes cover a couple of servers. If it wants to connect you outside your radius it will happen regardless BUT I think if it thinks it has more options that it can easily connect to it will happen less.
-
You can put the R3 in the Asus router DMZ but other than that you don't need to change anything, that will prevent a double NAT. Setting the DMZ on the R3 itself shouldn't be needed but you can do that if it struggles to get an Open NAT.

Server update in eFootball 2024 ping heatmaps
Netduma Fraser replied to euphidra's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I think you're talking about changing your routing which is more akin to a VPN and not something we can do very easily or quickly -
Imagine if you were getting a train that required you to change stations - the router sees that the 'station' you change at is within your radius and so allows you to connect. Once you get to that 'station' you join a connecting train that takes you outside the your radius - the connection has been allowed and the router can't see the final destination.
-
ONT > WAN Port on other router. That router handling PPPoE/VLAN LAN port on other router > WAN port on R3. R3 set to DHCP
-
Do not put your PC in the DMZ that is a major security risk, I'd highly suggest you remove it immediately. Look up the ports needed for the game and add them instead.
-
You don't need to open any ports specifically if you have an open NAT.
-
It's completely different for everyone but it's not abnormal if it can't be improved at that time.

You posted in the wrong topic, I'll post in yours. I've given you early access, try that in the meantime. https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ Thanks you too!

Are you having an issue? You've not posted

What firmware version are you on currently? The disconnect issue is something we're looking into at the moment

Server update in eFootball 2024 ping heatmaps
Netduma Fraser replied to euphidra's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I get what you're saying, I'm just saying that's how you identify servers you want to connect to. You may be being lag compensated, in which case forcing servers further away with a slightly higher ping can help. You know your experience, experiment and find what works best for you. -
I've never even heard of them but would be interested to hear anyone's results!
-
Okay so that's an allowed server, either by you or us, can you click on it and see if the ID is in your allow list please? If not please provide the ID and we can check whether it should be whitelisted or not.

I've found the V Hub modem mode to be a bit flaky in the past so try doing the above and see if that provides better stability.

Go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.
