Upgrade from a PC instead please and it should work
-
You've not provided a screenshot of it showing a game outside your radius so I can't really tell, can you do it from a PC instead please? I don't think we've specifically tested those services (I don't think we have them in the UK), check the domains that appear on Adblocker when an ad is playing on that service then add it to the block list

https://forum.netduma.com/topic/57868-new-r3-firmware-dumaos-40478/ It's getting a lot of good feedback so far

Have you updated to the latest Early Access version we released on Friday?
-
The logs can look like there are issues but it shows a lot of background processes. Let us know how you get on
-
Glad to hear you got it sorted, thanks for the update!

XBOX Disconnecting in middle of games
Netduma Fraser replied to nowngamer's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Are you encountering any issues along with the log entries? If not then you can ignore it, it shows background processes all the time that may stop and start -
Are you using Adblocker by any chance? Setting a static/reserved local (LAN) IP for all the WiFi devices: Go to Settings > DHCP Click Add Rule Click your device Click save Repeat for each WiFi device Then see if it works better please
-
Explain it like this modem > XR1000 > WiFi booster > XR1000 > All devices etc. I can't really advise without knowing the layout, you could draw it if that's easier and provide a picture. There isn't a bridge mode but there is AP mode, essentially shuts down all router functions and just makes it provide WiFi. If you're doing a speed test at the bottom of the setup and there are devices connected to all different points in the setup then your speeds probably will be lower because everything above it can take bandwidth away from it

Okay thanks, I'll pass it on. I don't think it's been added to the Geo-Filter at all

R3 Best settings for call of duty bo6 on pc?
Netduma Fraser replied to fletcherjames1's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I totally understand and appreciate that some people may not want to tinker very much. It would be remiss of me not to try and get people to use the router for the reason they bought it in the first place and most often if someone doesn't use it anymore it's because the settings are too much or not fully understood and that's where I come in -
From the default enabled options it's very likely Geo-Latency is the cause, let us know how you get on with it disabled.

XBOX Disconnecting in middle of games
Netduma Fraser replied to nowngamer's topic in Netduma R3 Support
No on the R3, you're setting a static/reserved local (LAN) IP for the Xbox itself. Super easy on the R3: Go to Settings > DHCP Click Add Rule Click your device Click save and that's it! -
R3 Best settings for call of duty bo6 on pc?
Netduma Fraser replied to fletcherjames1's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Glad to hear they're having a good experience, if we're not given the opportunity to help we can't unfortunately. It's a router that requires fine tuning and experimentation to find what works best, it may require a bit more effort but the pay off will be better. -

In this case the IP address for your Xbox renewed itself, set a static/reserved IP for the Xbox in Settings and that should prevent it happening again in future -
Make sure to upgrade to the recent update we put out on Friday and then resync the cloud and check it again please. I'm not sure if we've determined whether the game can be filtered or not yet

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.290

There are no specific recommendations for ranges of jitter/ping, as it all depends on actually what your connection is capable of/how stable your line is and the connection to the server as well as the server stability. If you have devices connected to an upstream router then I would definitely suggest having everything connected to the R3 as the R3 can't effectively control the network otherwise

Sorry to hear you're having that experience, I'd suggest making a new topic and we can help you there -
Grab the logs when it next happens please and we can take a look
