Tam olarak ne demek istediğinizi açıklayabilir misiniz?

Okay yeah that's fine, depending on your speeds they might be a bit lower but other than that should be fine

Tamam, evet sorun yok, hızınıza bağlı olarak biraz daha düşük olabilir ama bunun dışında sorun olmaz

thankyou. Is it better to use it as a bridge?

If you're not seeing any issues alongside this you can ignore it

The update worked very well, only a ping optimization problem does not work.

Thanks to your team for this excellent router👍🏻

Thanks for your feedback, glad to hear that!

Just updated to this FW and I'm getting really poor throughput only getting 500 to 600Mbps on my 1Gbps up and down connection wired tests run on pc

Have you done a factory reset yet on this version? I would suggest doing so if you haven't already, it's a decent sized change from the previous one

Is anyone else as disappointed in this router as I am?  I feel like it's just always something.  I can't just set it up and use it and be happy.  Every update helps one thing and breaks two others.  Features depending on the day are nice but not great, today's usage doesn't show after the last update.  Geofence doesn't seem to ever work for more than a night.  Then it takes witchcraft to get it working again.  Range is subpar at best.  Wifi speeds currently are at 20meg down, 133up.  I get 600 up and down wired.  My laptop is probably 3 ft from the router...guess I'll move that back to wired...   Can't log in remotely to view events if I'm not at home.  Login right now keeps giving me this loop of death that I've reset it 3x trying to get into it.  Now I guess I'll just keep hitting retry.  I tried clearing my cache (again)...and tried rebooting.  I'm pretty much just fed up with all of it.  I want to set my network up and be done with it.

I've given this thing over year and a lot of the same disappointment remains.  This was my first Netduma router that I had high hopes for but...I'm missing my old one and really debating on just getting rid of it and calling it a day.  Looking online it appears you guys have been doing this for over 10 years so I feel like you've had plenty of time to streamline this stuff.  Yes, the geofence is cool and yes the ping optimizer is nice...but for a pretty premium price of a router this thing is lackluster.

Anyone have a reason to stick it out or am I in an endless loop of disappointment until I upgrade?

Hi, I'm having a big issue with .540 update. I'm unable to connect with the WiFi using 5Ghz/160 Mhz connection. Firmware .290 works without an issue. Any solutions ?

Also having similar issues, in .540 both range and reliability of WiFi has been super inconsistent. I have to reboot to get it to connect to devices. Sometimes I go in my room (14feet away from the router, no EMF) and the Nvidia Shield just wont connect at all. Once this happens my phones start doing the same thing.. Just sits there retries and fails over and over until I reboot the router. It has a direct line of sight through the hallway to the router. Also this was never an issues before. Well the range has stability has always kind of been bad, to be honest. But this update all devices will get randomly kicked off the Wifi and unable to reconnect, the range is way worse and the up time is way worse. The direct connections to ethernet like my PC's have great stability, good hit reg, good ping etc.

You can do that with the Polygon mode essentially. Are you enabling the Geo-Filter when you're already on the game? Are you leaving your gaming device in an instant on/standby mode.

I'm using Polygon mode for my geofencing, the Geo-Filter is already enabled and setup before even turning the PS5 on and I am not leaving my PS5 on standby mode, I turn it off every time. I'll start it up and it will be fine, the ping will pretty much be the same but all of a sudden I'll notice that I'm starting to lag a bit. When I check the Geo-Filter, it will show that I have somehow connected to a server in Chicago, halfway across the United States. I have denied 50 now at this point, as of the time of this writing, though this only seemed to start since the last update prior to this most recent one. I have never connected to a server in chicago before either. I have had the same geofencing polygon shape for as long as I have had this, I purchased the day it came out, and I had the 450/500 router before this.

I haven't done this, yet, myself.

I've been having disconnects for the past two days. I've attached both logs and URL logs, below.

Just wanted to share before I do factory reset.

Can you expand on the Geo-Filter not working exactly? What are your WiFi settings? Access from the WAN has never been an option on the R3. Can you clarify the loop of death?

How do you have WiFi set, have you adjusted the settings manually? You may need to experiment with the widths/channels to get the best result. If you could provide the logs for when they disconnect that would be really helpful

Do you have Geo-Latency or Ping Assist enabled?

Right click the page, then go to Inspect (Element), on the window that appears click on the Network tab. Then click the checkbox to disable cache. Then click and hold the browser refresh button, and click Empty Cache and Hard Reload. Then see if it loads correctly please.

I tried above steps provided to get through this error message. Didnt work.

I click CONTINUEW ANYWAY, then I get Geo-Filter not running.

What can I do next?

And I dont want to hard-reset router to lose all my devices configs. Something which i've had asked ages ago to enable backing-up device config so its easier to hard-reset and quick recover.

If you haven't done one after upgrading then ideally you would do. If there was a backup system it wouldn't be advised to recover using a backup from a previous firmware. Reboot via the interface, close the interface, wait 4 minutes then access and check

The geo filter doesn't keep me within my set range a lot of the time.  When I'm host or not.  What do you mean by what are my wifi setting's?  I guess...just normal settings?  Nothing special.  I know accessing from outside my network has never been an option.  It was one thing I asked about right after I bought the router.  You stated you would add it to a list.  Obviously that doesn't mean it will for sure get done.  Just simply saying, that's a common feature among many many other router manufacturers.  Loops of death was a reference that I couldn't log into the router at all.  It just sat with my screenshot no matter what I did.  I couldn't log in.  Even when I said to skip that part.  Just kept going back to that.  After several reboots and waiting for a while it finally just started working.

  • Disable GeoLatency
  • Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0)
  • Enable Strict Mode
  • Disable Fast Search
  • Use Simple instead of Custom radius

Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should keep you in the radius then.

Disable Mirror Mode, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds. Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that and experiment with the widths to see what gives better results.
