Rylo Posted May 5, 2023 Share Posted May 5, 2023 I factory reset my xr1000 last night as I was having some internet issues and when it was checking firmware it said there was a new firmware. it updated from 1.0.0.64_1.0.49 to 1.0.0.68_1.0.54 I checked netgear and there isn’t any word of it was I suppose to get that update or should I go back to .64 for now Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's generally recommended yes but if you're not having any issues no need, if you do get issues then I would suggest doing so. Unless we specifically state to do so or if there is a big shift in functionality like going from 3.1 to 3.3 you should be able to get away without doing one.
