Lag comp in ranked play

just dont know why my hit reg is so off in ranked play. i play on 8 ms server. i could show you 10 clips every round. throttling also doesnt work for me.

Yeah same thing happens to me on 20ms ping. I play public matches and it's usually ping is king, once i play ranked it becomes high ping is king. In Australia we have one server location and I always get 50-100ms ping players and it just feels you went from using a Netduma router to an over congested mobile hotspot with 12mbps speeds. If Netduma has any knowledge on how to implement something into a future firmware update to combat it they should.

If you're lucky enough to have more than one server location try further away servers. I personally get the worst hit detection on players between 50-70ms ping.

@Victor-Yout What firmware version are you currently running on the R2? The latest has some QoS improvements so if you haven't already I'd suggest upgrading to it and then factory resetting the R2. You can find the latest firmware version here:

On the second video when slow down you did miss some shots but I can see what you mean, try forcing some servers slightly further away with a little higher ping and see if you notice any difference

as someone who plays  ranked play alot,  you arent  bugging.

 

Rank play  and  pubs servers are literally 2 different experiences.  in pubs  people die and  what not and YES THEY ARE SHOOTING BACK. (i never understood the  " they are better players logic" )   but in ranked  all the sudden it becomes  alot more about  lag comp than anything.   20 ping in pubs = im dominating most games.  20 ping in  ranked = im being  dominated in  games while having a  20 + ping advantage and  somehow getting killed in 2 shots cross map by a mp40  while i got  first shot off.  (for  empahsis i hit  elite  in CW and expert in this game) so its not like im  pure trash.

It’s probably not even your connection, look up bloom on vanguard. Bullets don’t always go where you’re aiming with the mp40, and you can’t control it, it’s a stupid thing they added into the game
