so im just trying to make sure im seeing this correctly before i go through the unneeded reset. in the past year or more, i was told that the ping assist was glitched and that it would be fixed in a later update that hasnt arrived yet. i am now being told to factory reset and all this would have been fixed? im not trying to argue here i just want to be sure that this is the actual problem

this is the R2, there is no update LMAO. we been waiting for 2 years

for reference, this is my full screen the problem is, if i close this screen (the settings) the ping thing will revert back to 0-25 or w/e but even when i leave it up on 0-0 it still pings ATL im at a loss

the random lag spike isnt all game tho. it last at best 2-5 secs and then the game goes back to normal. as said before, my ping normally stays around the same values i wrote except for the rare spike.

not true in my experience. with the netduma by itself ( and steady ping) in nyc I get 12 to 14 ping normally. in DMV based servers I get 20 ish and in ATL servers I get 30 ish. this hasn't changed with exitlag. it lags/spikes somewhat rarely but im getting the same ping I would get without it.

I know the quality is ass. im testing things with my obs settings. but this is the best raw footage I could pull since theater mode would have a slight delay. combined the geofilter ability with exitlags routing features and got some of the best hit detection ive seen in the 4 years ive had this router. thie duo isnt perfect. but when it works, it is absolutely wild. 120-30 this game. ( most my deaths were stupid challs or me being a moron) one wildcard im willing to throw out there is that im also using the most busted weapon in the game. but yea

steady ping has been an absolute game changer for me when the server gets destroyed to lag and etc. try it out. I kept mine on default value

Wait steady ping works again? cause it hasnt worked for me in like 2 months and i remember fraser saying it was on the fritz at the moment.

not to hijack this topic, but on the topic of ping assist, is there a glitch on the r2 duma beta where ping assist doesnt stay at the setting i have it? example, if it is on 0-25 by default and i try to lower it to 0. when i reopen the settings, its back on 0-25.

i will try this when i get home from work. cause i tell my boys all the time that this game has the most "dynamic" ninja perk in cod history. people without ninja can literally full sprint behind me and NOT be heard and i would be like WTF? this does sound like it could be a placebo, but i also have Art of war sound stuff and i suffer from this in MP. so we will see in a few hours

i 2nd this motion, the ATL server is by far the worse server on MW3 in the terms of lag. it feels like im 4 secs behind everyone as a NY'er. just a completely unfun experience. to date its the only server i ever had to block within the 50 states.

theres a test this weekend, any hopes in getting this added into the system?

it seems like you are mad at the devs because of bad luck timing on your part. like wouldnt you want a functional firmware on your 200 dollar router? if they released duma 4 Right now and it turned people R2s into paperweight, people like this post will still say "you guys are trying to push sales by breaking our routers" you ask for a road map, but what would that road map give you? if something happened and threw the whole thing off, you will be pissed and call the man a liar. just be patient or cough up the next 200 for the r3. going back and forth with fraser isnt going to get you OS4

yea i been having this issue as well in pubs on mw3. i would be fine for a while then out of no where the game sends me to south america for like 2-4 games, before fixing it self and sending me back to my geo filter region. it only happened on mw3

i need a setting to get back my hit detection. cause some games its fine and other games its like nothing is hitting. i see some with how the r3 but what about the R2?
