Popular Post Netduma Lew
Hi everyone, As part of future developments, we're looking at the concept of a sub-tray extension for DumaOS; allowing you to make changes to certain settings quickly without opening the full browser version, regardless of what you're doing. To make the sub-tray as useful as possible, we need to know: Which features do you use the most? Which statistics and data do you regularly use or monitor? Which features do you think you would find useful in a Windows sub-tray app? This could be almost anything - such as changing your Ping Assist setting, running a speedtest from Connection Benchmark, or simply switching an entire Rapp on/off. So far, here are some of the ideas we've potentially considered: Adblocker (Switch On/Off) Adblocker Pause Traffic Prioritization (Stat Counters, enable rules) Speed Test, Ping Test Congestion Control Bandwidth Allocation Ping Graph I've included an image to give you a better idea of our vision for the sub-tray extension. If you have any ideas on what you'd like to see in this format, let us know. Thanks! 👍 Tripper, Fuzy, noctwrnyA and 3 others
Fuzy
For my part what I use the most is: 1 - The Geo-filter (to know the location of the server) 2 - Auto ping (to know the quality of the server) 3 - Benchmark connection (to find out if my line is optimal) Netduma Lew and Theheadski
FunkyBooyea
This is a FANTASTIC idea! I like what you have in the graphic since those are used a lot before and after gaming... or just simple web browsing. Maybe a REBOOT option in the 3 dots section... Keep the good ideas coming. noctwrnyA, Netduma Fraser and Netduma Lew
Renan
Would it be nice to have a ceiling bandwidth allocation on QOS for devices or applications even with sharing excess turned on. Today only have the optional to share with all or not.

mfoz11
To add to this, it would be nice to see which devices are using the QOS (Congestion rules) - so if ive chosen gaming as my majority for QOS then see which device is using that (and then i know why my file transfer for work is slow as someone is gaming) Ive turned off the main rule on Traffic Prioritization (its an S by the way not a Z) and added my devices separate so i can monitor which is activating the Congestion rules. Good ideas thanks, I'll pass them on to Lew. We're based in the UK but we went with the US spelling. Netduma Lew
T-sun
How about having a WPA3 in the wifi network. But that is just an idea though.
Bert
1. Traffic priority on or off. (This used to be visible in the traffic overview widget, not anymore currently) 2. Bandwidth sliders 3. Bandwidth in use 4. Ping to host 5. Geofilter on/off

KingXFocusedxX
You could make the subtray similar to the dashboard couldn't you? so that way its just everything, but you get limited space and room for essentially, widgets. Netduma Liam

In theory, yes! I'll pass on the feedback.
rdgbasilio
It would be nice in future improvements to give us the option to save all the DumaOS config. When we update the firmware (and reset) all the config can be loaded.

The Duma OS sub tray As far as I'm aware we're not working on this one now. With the new Mobile App, it just makes it much easier to access more of these settings instead. Jeofel08
This feature is promising in terms for example you don't have phone lying around. Or if you have two monitors.
