BO4 ISP better?

So I just bought an XR300. It does a great job at reducing ping for sure. However I noticed I die WAY quicker with it. This isn’t placebo I promise. I play comp cod so mostly user hosted games aka custom games. When I have the xr300, I die SOOOOO fast. Like I can’t even explain it.... it’s almost like the ISP gives me extra latency against their bullets. I’m not even kidding. But when I run the xr300, all of their bullets connect me. anyone have any thoughts on how I can configure the xr300 to idk replicate the isp??? Or any thoughts in general on this?? Imo Bo4 seems to be a one of a kind game. XR works great with MW

Any way to configure the xr300 around this? Perhaps running a weird bandwidth allocation setting or anti buffet bloat setting? I’ve tried a the whole 70-70 thing and it doesn’t work bc my upload is always higher than my download

Its becouse mw19 dont Work Well with netduma.. i switched to another Router and it feels more even..

But remember.. If you improve your Connection to the Server.. the Server has better information about you aswell.. so it can calculate enemys Hits on you better too

That is exactly the issue.

If you play other players with shit connections the server disadvantages you. So really these routers work well just the game works against you. It's called atrificial latency balancing, a variation of what happened in the old days when the host got given a artificial disadvantage.

You could always throttle the connection, some people report having success with that, or only having QoS applying slightly (Anti-BB at 95% for example). Anti-BB is sort of trial and error to find exactly what works for your connection.

How can I get around this with the XR?

So using Geo filter.... even for custom games.... I can force the server farther? Could you elaborate ? I thought custom games doesn’t use Bo4 servers but rather a hosted client

Very strange that a game would play better with a worse ping... If that's the case, there may be ways we can streamline this in future Geo-Filter versions.

I believe I have found a fix. The issue is ping being too low. Need to increase ping via double Nat.

I have double NAT on my Xbox but it doesn't increase in game ping. Not sure why you think NAT can affect ping neither.

Yeah I throttled my connection and my game experience was a game changer, hit reg was hit on and movement was crips. The only thing let me down or loose a gun fight was my my self

Played wager matches yesterday to fully test out my theory. And voila. I was MELTING. The Netcode on Bo4 either thrives with ping in the ranges of 50+ or The extra latency of double Nat Helps a ton!

It increases latency therefore you’re ping will take a slight hit in p2p connection. Given the netcode of Bo4, it works perfect

Doesn't for me. I get the same ping in game and on console that I did before double NAT started happening.
