It doesn't show on heatmap or the Geo-Filter?

It''s back again on ping heat but still when I connect it doesn't show on map. Steady ping doesn't work either. It's on but my ping is lower than with steady on. Call of Duty in smartboost isn't active while playing.

Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if you see the server on the map. Are you saying your ping is higher with Steady Ping and lower with it off? Resync the cloud on SmartBOOST and see if it prioritizes then.
sw3ar Posted January 16 Posted January 16 46 minutes ago, Netduma Fraser said: Are you saying your ping is higher with Steady Ping and lower with it off? Yes. It adds buffer. It didn't help. It is not a problem with one server but with CoD. When I connect to any server it doesn't show on geo and SP doesn't work. Why is it happening? I didn't change anything......
sw3ar Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Ok. I didn't change anything and it is happening so it is something on your side. Please, quote me when you change something, on cloud etc.

That's exactly how it is supposed to work, it adds ping so it can absorb spikes/jitter. You didn't make the change to the console device type, please follow each step and try again.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 16 Administrators Posted January 16 Please provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter when you're actually in the game playing

I done that PC Playstation thing again and It works now. Should I change to PC icon or stay on PS? EDIT: I had to change it back to PC icon. In Hell Let Loose only visable servers were in PL.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 16 Administrators Posted January 16 You can stay like that, it would work for any game
sw3ar Posted January 16 Posted January 16 18 minutes ago, Netduma Fraser said: You can stay like that, it would work for any game It is for all games, which means like I wrote above, in HLL at server browser I had only servers inside my geo-filter radius. EDIT: And now it doesn't work again. Why this is happening in the first place after a year of using? I didn't change anything... This is how it looks like while I am on the server, playing. Can you make it back to how it used to be? I didn't change anything so I think this is something on your side? you need to update something at cloud? don't know
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 16 Administrators Posted January 16 It's not anything on our side, the router downloads the latest cloud update and then uses that information, it's not an ever changing thing and you don't have a consistent connection to us that would cause issues should it be interrupted or if anything is changed. We'd also see a lot more reports of it if that was the case. If you force servers in a different area does it work as expected each time?
Moofda Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Server ID: 15DFXM9 Says Sanjose 13 Ping In router, Server located Newjersey area 80 ping actual ingame.

You have to enable the Geo-Filter before you have even launched the game client, if you have the game client active in the system tray then shut that down fully, wait 2 minutes, enable the Geo-Filter then launch the client and then the game. Do not change Geo-Filter settings while playing but if you do then then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC and it should work then.

I have everything setup perfectly, I boot up CoD, join match, then I don't see that I'm connected to a server, even that geo-filter itself works correctly, just there isn't that gamepad icon therefore SP doesn't work and CoD is offline in Smartboost. Just like on that screenshot.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 17 Administrators Posted January 17 Check the IP on the PC itself, then check the device you think it is on the Device Manager, make sure they match, if they don't find the match and re-name it. Then in Settings > DHCP > Add Rules > Select Device > Save, then reboot the router from the interface and see if it happens again please.
