BIG__DOG
have you tried using super turbo mode?
ColonicBoom
i have virgin media I suspect that is this problem. Mine was the same. To find out, download 'pingplotter'. Connect your laptop to your superhub (in modem mode) over ethernet. Ping Twitter or BBC. Run it for about 20mins and then post the resulting screenshot up in here. If it looks lovely then you have a setup issue with the Netduma, if it looks nasty then you have an ISP issue.
bagsta69
that test uses the google servers (I think) which can at times be very flakey, as boom has suggested id run ping plotter to get a more realistic picture

maazsk97
Then its an issue with your line.
BIG__DOG
yeah, that is a line issue. the netduma cannot fix that! I would contact virgin and email them those screenshots. That is unacceptable especially with those sky high prices you are paying! You should have a result like mine which shows a good line:
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 17, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 17, 2017 As the others have said if you're getting the same direct to the virgin modem then it is a line issue and you'll need to contact them. Collect the evidence of tests direct from the modem as proof & if they send anyone around have the duma unplugged otherwise they'll likely blame it despite the evidence to the contrary. N3CR0
Virgin will be ya problem, as already said. My PP looks pretty crap (on Virgin too) but not as bad as yours.
fuzzy clam
WOW,that's pretty bad for sure.I would definitely be getting in touch with your ISP and explain the situation and the issues your having. And be sure and document your findings and show that to them also, your tech may or may not understand the issue.
ColonicBoom
Pretty much the same when in modem mode directly to pc My Virgin line looked very similar to that. I told them I couldn't play games on it and that it had a wildly fluctuating ping. They responded saying the speeds are fine (because they're idiots). You'll get an engineer out pretty quick and they'll fiddle about and may replace the hub, if they fix the problem then it's all good. But if they can't then you'll know very quickly, get them to send another engineer, repeat ad nauseam. After a couple of weeks of them paying for engineers to visit you with no possibility of a resolution then it's quite likely they will let you out of your contract without penalty. Difficult as it is, you have be super polite to the total c***w**s*l on the phone (you'll be speaking to them a lot) and to the engineers (who are usually better than the phone chimps). You have so much more chance of them wanting to help you out (even if it is just to let you out of your contract) if, when they get off the phone to you, they haven't just had an ear-nuke. It's psychological warfare my friend. Get to the chopper! Much like how it is in here really, people want to help pleasant people but won't waste their time on the dickheads.
