Check this 28" one from Asus  1ms response  with HDMI 2.0.  Really inexpensive in comparison.  I've got my eye on it now and may pull the trigger

Since you guys are discussing monitors what do you think about the benq xl2420t?

It seems like if you're on the market for a new monitor these days you should force yourself to go with a 4K resolution version.  We know XB and PS have or will have 4K games.  I think the whole industry is moving that way. I'm an errant finger twitch away from buying that Asus one I linked to above, I don't have anything in 4K to use it for, but I'm 99% sure I'll be getting the Scorpio when it comes out so having a 4K monitor already will ease that expense.

I have never played on or seen a benq in action to comment on.

If you're on PC then sure it's fine... Anything over 60 hz on console is pointless though as it only runs at 60 hz and 2ms versus the 1ms response of the rl2455hm

For consoles the best monitor is hands down the RL2455HM.

I've owned 3 RL2455HM BENQ for three years, still running strong with no dead pixels, two for my gaming rig, one center monitor for my ps4, doesn't matter what console you play on any gaming 1ms response time monitor will work for both consoles..

Go for an IPS panel if you'd like everything to look pretty, you can get ones with pretty low response times these days. If you'd prefer to sacrifice picture quality for an even faster response time then I'd probably look for a BenQ TN monitor. BUT some of the super high response panels can cause overshoot which will cause ghosting, which is bad. Most people overlook this as they are obsessed with response times.

Sites like http://www.tftcentral.co.uk give VERY detailed reviews on all of this, but if you can't be bothered to go into that much detail then check sites like amazon.

Oh and stick to 60hz. Anything over that will either make no difference or even in some cases cause screen tearing/frame stutter.

Another vote for BENQ.  I have two, the newest being the RL model listed above and I love them.  Made a HUGE difference for me over trying to game on a 55" Vizio TV with HDMI input.   <_<

Anyone have the BenQ XR3501 curved panel?

I'm really struggling lately on my well researched low input lag TV, and my sons smaller tv is a cheaper led but looks WAY better.

Told the wife I want a computer desk, chair and monitor lol

I'm running a samsung 29" curved monitor and it's pretty cool, BUT  I will warn you  if you sit too close to the big monitor you'll lose some of your ability to see what is happening on the edges of your screen.

I'm asking for this for christmas...good response time, plus 4k on HDMI 2.0

Next year when I upgrade to the Scorpio, I'll be ready for the 4K goodness.

Hello duma army, i have a zowie benq rl2460 for 4 days, and i want to config. the best settings for xbox one.

Any advise..

I am using that exact model with the PS4.  I have played around with various settings and found that I prefer the FPS preset settings.  Make sure that your RGB settings (i.e. 0-255 full vs 16-235 limited) on the monitor match the Xbox.  I am using RGB full on both PS4 and Benq.
