  1. @ZacThey do show up on device manager they just appear as LAN connections instead of wireless connections I would just disable the R3 WiFi since if your multi-casting with the same network name/ID then that might be the cause for your confusion as there can be a possibility that your device is connected to the XR instead of the R3.
  2. If your setup is like mines were you have the R3 WiFi disabled or all your devices connected to the XR then it going to show up as if it a lan device even though it isn't I don't think there a fix for that though it not like it affects your experience etc. What are you specifically watching on your apple tv? As not everything will be prioritized as it is based on a DPI catalog so generally it is best to force prioritize the devices you want for the most optimal connection.
  3. I highly recommend updating to the latest version https://kb.netgear.com/000065541/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-68 after doing so follow the procedures below Locate the Reset button on the back of your router. With the router powered on, use the pointed end of a paperclip or similar object to press and hold the Reset button for 30 seconds. Wait for the router to fully reset and power back on.
  4. CHECK INBOX
  5. @Netduma FraserQuick question is changing the dns supposed to disable the wan? If not it did in my case I had a dns set 1.1.1.1 and decided to restore to default and then the wam stayed disconnected. R3 WAN.txt
  6. @cljackhammerThe title of the topic would say otherwise but I understand what your saying I believe there just trying to get as many bugs fixed by doing bi-weekly updates etc you have to remember the routers only been out for a short period. I'd say the timing was somewhat bad do to it being the holidays which delayed updates though it was clearly a market move to get as many sales during holidays and it wasn't ready as it is missing features that should've been there from the beginning.
  7. @cljackhammerWhat are you talking about? You know what your saying sounds dumb because if they released beta features without fixing the core issues first then it just become an even buggier mess since they have to figure what causing this and that etc....
  8. @6ERMAN9 You can try rebooting the router or alternatively increase processes to 5 though I would recommend updating to the latest firmware and then hard resetting. https://kb.netgear.com/000065541/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-68
  9. There no betas that am aware off at the moment there just trying to fix all the major bugs and push the updates to users as quickly as possible
  10. @oldman66Have you tried anything other than battle net then?
  11. @maxlangevinIt not coming for a bit till the R3 is more stable then they'll start porting it though the latest beta for it is pretty close to what your going to get on dumaos 4 so I would just upgrade to that beta if you haven't though to be aware there is a loading bug even on the R3 were you may need to reboot the router or optionally since it available on the R2 disable and re-enable smart qos and should give you access to the main UI etc.
  12. @cs10Would definitively update to the latest version if you haven't https://kb.netgear.com/000065541/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-68
  13. @oldman66 So what speeds are you getting when you do a speed test? If your getting the speeds that the your provider supports this could be a server issue rather than router Though to be aware there is a cpu bug at the moment related to have higher ping on fiber internet there should be a patch coming this week for that etc though I dont think that is related to download speeds...
  14. Well well well nothing that I didn’t expect…
  15. @joel82It works fine on ios the only thing that I could think that's maybe blocking you from accessing it would be if your using a vpn
  16. @NewfieWell it was basic it wasn't me who wanted the password at the time for an example it was a month with a year number so yeah pretty basic
  17. @zuhloobie The suggestions below should help if you are continuing to connect to servers outside of your radius. * Disable GeoLatency * Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) * Enable Strict Mode * Disable Fast Search Then restart the game if that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and check again.
  18. @jmoorect1979Geofilter doesn’t stop other players from joining your region in some games it does though it not intended to work like that in the first place that why I believe on Halo it banned do to it constricting. To add you can see the servers by booting up the game and looking at geofilter will it being launched.
  19. @mindlashYeah I got the same thing it an UI bug the way it is done is by going back and forth on network activity I found it first something I noticed and it’ll show a spike on the dashboard of high bandwidth but then slowly goes back to normal is yours constant?
  20. @mindlash Are you sure you’re the only user connected at the time of looking at the network activity. I would advise changing the password and checking again since if someone is on your network without your permission then there using for free etc. I did have one little rat once pass through my network I noticed because i typically check my network I guess the password was a bit easy and they cracked it therefore I changed it to an encrypted password and they haven’t cracked it again.
  21. @iOrcusYour referring to being able to disable bandwidth share forcefully I believe they were going to add it back but I couldn’t say for certain if they will….
  22. You guys need to be more specific on the games your playing as not every game is supported you can check what games are supported by going to Smart Boost>Add>Gaming if it isn't recognized then be specific of the game and platform your using as sometimes it isn't detected on a certain platforms but for other platforms it is etc. To add the game is only going to be detected when your in a match not in a lobby waiting... You can also check what being falsely activated by either going to Stat for Nerds or Network Activity>Now
  23. @iOrcusIt not needed as Smart Boost is Smarter at giving you the proper bandwidth however if you like you can make a custom rule to allocate bandwidth Smart Boost>3 dots on top>Profile>3 slashes>add reservation
  24. @[email protected] can't necessarily change your region to another with geofilter and expect it to work the same way this is why you use HVPN so that you can play in other regions...it is possible to join another region without it though the queue times will be ridiculously long.
  25. @MegatfIt not out yet should be this upcoming week
