@Netduma FraserYou might as well just push the update to everyone as this fixes the cpu issue so it required
-
@bcoe30There is a bug I found so I'd say yes though you can try it and see if you get different results in my case it turns off the wan which cuts internet access and the only fix I found is resetting the router. However if your doing it for the first time it doesn't turn off the wan so you can technically add a dns server you just can't change it after it added.

The max wireless speeds for the R2 are around 300mbs there not much you can do since it limited to the hardware alternatively you can buy yourself an access point to take full advantage of the network/wireless speeds something most R2 users do if they want the OS running the network.
-
I don't believe there's an import/backup feature so your out of luck on that end
-
@TG3NOC1D3Everyone has the right to have there opinion nothing's wrong with it 😂

@iOrcus The suggestions below should help if you are continuing to connect to servers outside of your radius. * Disable GeoLatency * Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) * Enable Strict Mode * Disable Fast Search Then restart the game if that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and check again.
-
@TG3NOC1D3That was an idea I did provide originally though it was dismissed...there like 20 or so topics about the same thing which is funny in a way.
-
@Fuzy Isn't it advertised as speeds above 1G or so though the tech isn't there yet so it certainly is better than 4G but it isn't real 5G just a fun fact. I would say expect anywhere between 200mbs-5G ideally

@bubberCould be the bands conflicting try splitting the bands and see if that solves your issue

Nest camera XR1000 won't connect
DARKNESS replied to Reykc9510's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@Reykc9510If that doesn't work use wpa the quickest method to get them connected though I would guess that it the cameras having issues accepting the password as I have had a printer that does not connect unless it a simple password and using wpa bypasses the issue. -
Try this: 1. Quit the application/game/client completely 2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter 3. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu 4. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option 5. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like 6. Wait 2 minutes 7. Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works.

Try renewing the dhcp lease on the network settings to clarify am referring to the device your connected to on the lan so it would be on your systems adapter settings.

As for the VPN are you using it through the router function HVPN or an application? If you are doing it through an application I recommend doing it through the router instead.

@SahmooDo a capture yourself and add it to the following forum for it to get supported quicker should be easy if your already on PC as it is PC exclusive from my research
-
@AylinkaTo diagnose your network you can use the following tool as it is easier to understand https://www.pingplotter.com/
-
@AylinkaLooking at it yes I can see the lag and you can ignore my comment about the cc....I would check if the lag is caused by the network ISP just to isolate the issue as I did say it could be a CPU issue that users have reported of it causing spikes on there network is a possibility.
-
@AylinkaCould be related to the CPU issue at the moment not saying it is though you can try going lower on your congestion control.... To add when your playing call of duty does it show that it active under SmartBoost?
-
@AylinkaI mean looking at your buffer bloat test it doesn't seem like your using cc if you are then you need to set it to always and disable speed test bypass to get accurate results
-
Fixed CPU usage spike issue coming next week.
