  1. Podría ser un caso de ajustar la configuración de QoS, ¿en qué plataforma estás jugando y cómo tienes configurado QoS actualmente? ¿Quizás si crea un nuevo tema, podemos solucionar este problema con usted?
  2. Love to hear it! Thanks for updating us, do post back again if you have any further questions.
  3. Have you got Share Excess disabled when you go to QoS -> Bandwidth Allocation -> Click the three-line menu in the top left of the panel? If so, that would explain it, please re-enable that and it should work fine afterwards. We receive a lot of DMs and they're hard to track so it's not really feasible to provide support over DM.
  4. Welcome to the forum! Could you please create a new topic in the below sub-forum and include as much detail as you can regarding the exact problem you're having and what you've done so far to troubleshoot it. https://forum.netduma.com/forum/87-dumaos-on-netgear-nighthawk-support/
  5. Sounds great, let us know if you have any questions after you've installed it!
  6. Welcome to the forum Mike! What device are you using for this, have you got a PC/Laptop with an ethernet port? Can you connect this device to on of the R2s yellow LAN ports? If so, do that, then go to 192.168.77.1 in the web browser of that device. You should then see the DumaOS interface. Do you have all devices on the network connected to the R2? If so, that's great. What we should probably do to avoid any NAT issues would be to put the R2 in the EE Hub's DMZ. This is generally a more stable and reliable alternative to many bridge/modem modes. To do this, go to System Information in the DumaOS interface, note down the WAN IP of the R2, then go to your EE Hub settings and find the DMZ option. Put the R2 WAN IP here, or select it's hostname if that's the only option. After that you should be good to go.
  7. Hey! Assuming you've got internet access through the XR500, it sounds like you've got the physical element setup correctly. It sounds as though we need to tweak QoS to ensure your game is handled as a priority, preventing you from lagging. To do this, can you let me know what device you're playing on? Console, PC, mobile for example? Also, we should double check Congestion Control is setup correctly. My suggestion would be to first ensure your network speeds are correct. This is indicated on the far right hand side of the Congestion Control panel. If they're not showing the speeds you get from your ISP, you can click the three-line menu in Congestion Control and update these by clicking 'Set Bandwidth Speeds'. After that, set Congestion Control to auto-enable and move the sliders to about 70%.
  9. Welcome to the forum! We're not sure exactly where it is in their testing process, we are still working with them quite intensely on XR1000 firmware at the moment, but I at least was under the impression the last version we sent over was ready for their testing and that it would be released first. I'll speak with the team and if there's any further update we can provide on it, we'll update the firmwares page mentioned above accordingly.
  10. Welcome to the forum! To get the best out of the XR500 and DumaOS, it's be best to replace the OpenWRT router with it. The Wi-Fi on the XR500 is pretty good, better than your standard ISP router anyway! With the XR500 here in the network, you won't have any issues with NAT and QoS will have fully control over the network, ensuring you're not having any issues with lag due to a congested network. All DumaOS work regardless of whether you're using DHCP on the XR too!
  11. Can you run a speedtest through a third-party such as speedtest.net, are the speeds what you'd expect? Can you also provide a screenshot of how you've currently got QoS setup? We can likely find a solution to the problem by making some tweaks there.
  12. Can you please try going to the three-line menu in the top-left of the Geo-filter map, click Resync Cloud, then go to System information after a couple of minutes and scroll down the Logs. Here, click the menu in the top left of the Logs panel and download the log file. If you could then send that over to us we might be able to see where it's going wrong.
  13. If can connect a device to the R2 directly via an ethernet cable, you can then go to 192.168.77.1 in the web browser and then Network Settings -> LAN -> Wi-Fi and the password will be listed there.
  14. Thanks for your patience, I've opened a ticket with a developer and we'll get them to remote in and take a look. Something else to check in the mean time, could you please disconnect the WAN cable from both the Blue port on the R2 and the modem. Then disconnect one of the LAN cables from one of the yellow ports and the device it's connected to. Then take the cable you disconnect from a LAN port, plug it into the Blue WAN port and plug the other end into the LAN port on the modem. Take the cable that was the WAN cable and connect it to one of the yellow LAN ports on the R2, connect the other end to your PC. So essentially what we've done here is swap the two cables around. After this, send us another screenshot of the device manager table again.
  15. Maybe we're dealing with some Wireless contention here. Could you try downloading a Wi-Fi Analyser (there's one on the Microsoft store called Wi-Fi Analyser) and run a couple tests. Find which channels are least congested and switch your Wi-Fi on the R2 to use those. I know you mentioned you'd experimented with some different ones, but this test actually tells us which are the best to use. Now the R2 is back in the network, you've currently got ALL devices connected to it again, is that right? Have you still got the Traffic Prioritisation rule we added for your games console, and you're still seeing occasional stutters and ping spikes with this? Is this occuring when the network is very busy (downloads, updates, etc) or do you get this regardless of how busy the network is?
  16. I'll let the team know the big release is today and we'll see if we can get it on Ping Heatmap! Are ALL devices on the network connected to your XR1000 or do some still connect to the upstream router/modem? What device are you playing on? How is it connected to the XR1000? Do you know anything inbetween your gaming device and the XR such as powerline extenders, Wi-Fi boosters, etc?
  17. It may take a little longer than you are expecting, but we're working on it and we'll resolve it, when we do, we'll push an update.
  18. Yes, however if that country is very far away this will result in a high ping. If the ping is too high, your game client may well refuse to connect to these servers and you'll be left searching for a match for ages.
  19. Well, obviously I am going to say anything running DumaOS is your best option in terms of gaming routers! You could also look at the NETGEAR Nighthawk Pro Gaming range if you need better Wi-Fi coverage, however the R2 will receive more frequent updates with the latest features!
  21. Yeah I think it's more a case of how HybridVPN reads the config files, it clearly has issues with the first one and not the second. We're still investigating so we hope to have it fixed for then next update. Feel free to send the config files you've got over to us, it may also help our developer in debugging the issue.
  22. Do you know the VLAN ID you need? Your ISP should be able to tell you that. Then, simply go to the DumaOS interface by going to 192.168.77.1 in your web browser, go to Network Settings -> WAN -> General and enter the VLAN ID at the bottom, then enable the toggle and click Save General.
  23. It's proving harder than expected, we're getting very mixed results each time we try to capture new data for the game. We're going to have to get some developer input on this one and see if we can work it out. If so, we'll push a cloud update!
  24. That is what we'd expect to see with Ping Assist enabled as you'll get a much better ping that server in the UK. You'd need to set Ping Assist to 0 to try and force the US servers.
  25. Ah, that looks much more like it! Well done on figuring that one out. Let us know if you have any further issues or questions!
