I had Comcast coax and went with ATT fibre in my area 1G/1G. Basically, I was paying more for less bandwidth. It was a win win in my case. I really wish ATT had a true modem mode though but they have IP passthrough. But I haven't had any issues with it.

Can’t comment on the Linksys but can say the R3 can get speeds of -900/-900. I have AT&T fiber 1G/1G.

DumaOS4 is currently being tested on the R2. Netduma expects the process to work quite seamlessly, so you'll be able to expect the update in the near future. Sorry I can't be more exact in release date.

I contacted SBMMOff directly and this was their reply. I thought I would share. Hi, No we do not offer configs for routers, you must use our client im afraid. However if you wish to use another vpn you can try gamevpns.com which works on consoles and pc via dns.

I noticed downloading the pc based ookla Speedtest app worked for me. The web based app was very unstable for me.

—user.info com.netdumasoftware.neighwatch: DHCP old event I’m seeing tons of these events in the R3’s logs like 20 to 30 at a time. Wasn’t sure what this means. I’m not actually noticing any issues but sometimes not experiencing any issues doesn’t mean they are not occurring.

Thanks @Netduma Fraser

What metrics does the router telemetry capture to monitor network performance? Does it assist with finding bugs with the router. And does it significantly add to the workload of the router if enabled. I understand the whole privacy concern but I’m ok if it really assists with improving the router. Thanks.

Thanks. 😊

Do you recommend entering a value here or just leaving it blank? I know the best MTU for my setup is 1500. Just wanted to verify. Thanks.

The R3 doesn't have a Scheduled Router Reboot function. I know it has been recommended but unsure of when it will be implemented. I will let @Netduma Fraser address your other questions. Thanks.

Please place any recommended games on this thread. Thanks. New Games for the Geo-Filter - Netduma Forum -
I noticed a stuck very high usage description on the duma os app but the bandwidth displayed did not represent it. Nothing displayed under smart boost priorities but there was activity under live data. This has been the 2nd time this has happened to me. I was able to remedy it with a router reboot. Here are a few screenshots. Has anyone else experienced this.

Sorry to say it is broken. Also, the Speed Test in not functioning for many people as well. Netduma is aware and working on a fix.

Just an FYI. There is not modem mode or dmz. ATT refers to it as IP Passthrough which it isn't exactly the same. And once you place your Netduma router behind the ATT modem/combo you will no longer be able to get IPv6. If ATT had a true dmz or modem mode you would be able to get IPv6. We can only hope that ATT one day will push out an update to their modem/router that allows you to get full functionality.

Overwatch 2 Server Possible Mislocation (Oklahoma)
PharmDawgg replied to PharmDawgg's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I wish there was a way for the R3 or future Netduma routers to grab those IDs so we as a group can better the ping heat map with updating those servers that have incorrect locations. -
Overwatch 2 Server Possible Mislocation (Oklahoma)
PharmDawgg replied to PharmDawgg's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Sometimes I wonder if the Oklahoma server’s location is incorrect. My ping is always-34ms which according to the ping heat map is the New Jersey/NewYork server. Also my R3 tries to block it by showing a yellow triangle because I have my ping assist set to 0-25 and it is outside of my geo filter’s radius, But it connects to it any way. I figure it is due to geo-latency being enabled. What do you think. Maybe the R3 does everything in its power to not let you get booted from the game. 😂 Or maybe the R3 only has so much power over these game developer servers. -
just a couple of issues, not sure how fix…
PharmDawgg replied to Lsmith24's topic in Netduma R3 Support
If you don’t like the amount of ping buffer that is applied by Steady Ping (Simple). do know with Steady Ping (Expert) you can manually set how much ping buffer is applied to stabilize you ping spikes. It is a pretty nice function. -
It has been requested. We will have to just wait and see. Fingers crossed.
