Hi, The ONT seems included in the ISP box, the box order is your optical termination point. You will not be able to bypass your ISP box... Unless your ISP can provide you with an External ONT.

You can get them by letting your isp router manage the pppoe and putting the R3 in dhcp/dmz behind it! The rate limiting constraint is only if the R3 is handling the pppoe at the moment.
