If you use port forwarding, this is normal...

The only way to have a Strict NAT is to disable automatic or manual port opening! The question is whether your VPN provider also does it on their side!? How is your configuration upstream of the R3? If you are in DMZ behind your ISP modem router, you must start by removing it, if you are in PPPoE or VLan only the firewall will do it! Have you tried blocking TCP port 3074 on the device for your game?

Keep in mind that RJ45 standards like HDMI are purely commercial! Buying a very expensive cable will not give you a better experience... I have 8Gbps symmetrical speeds "FAI" And a local network in 10 Gbps ... cat6 or 5e does the job! 😉

You need to reserve a Static IP for the R3 at the ISP router and then put it in the ISP router's DMZ! The MAC address uniquely identifies your device.
-
Yes, this is what will be best, because all of your devices will go through the R3 and you will have greater wifi coverage with the mesh
-
Hi ! Yes it should work fine like that. Keep us posted once installed!

Hi! It seems that this is just an SSID problem. The test on the R3 is direct from your ISP (RJ45 "cable") The test on your mobile is behind the Wifi : There are 2 wifi bands on the R3 2.4 and 5Ghz. The first is more stable but limited in bandwidth The second will allow you more flow! My iPhone 12 is limited to 500/500 Mbps max in Wifi ax, the best way to do a test is to use a wired PC or MAC!

By default, network cards like managed switches are auto-negotiating. It’s actually astonishing! Glad it worked for you!

Works great for me!

---Ping is not necessarily the King! A stable server... An optimized line... works very well. I have seen people play on 100ms servers and it works very well for them. Keep in mind that Steady ping is a tool that certainly adds an extra ping buffer but that ensures stability in games (no lag, WTF moment) on unstable servers or in case of congestion on your line.---

It's not the same VPN/NetdumaOS, but the principle remains the same! https://www.expressvpn.com/fr/support/vpn-setup/setup-expressvpn-openvpn-netduma-r2-router/

Sorry, I guess this is confusing for you, knowing that you have never done it! Once this file is downloaded, open it with a text file on your PC, and copy/paste in VPN config file "R3 HVPN"!

Most VPN providers provide a 30 day trial period, you can do a google search and test them! For me it's the same... If the "DDOS" is upstream of your ISP or PS5, not sure it helps !
-
Hi! How do you notice DDOS attacks? By MAC or by IP... or other! If this is really the case, the best is to simply change ISP, it will provide you with another IP/MAC address! ----It's hard to explain to a child how a VPN works!---- All you need to understand is that the main VPN providers provide configuration files... HVPN (DumaOS) allows the use of OpenVPN and Wireguard type files. As long as this type of file is provided by the VPN provider, you just have to copy/paste it into HVPN. Start with free versions to get the hang of it, and choose a paid version if that helps!

Hybrid VPN - Improvements
Krush replied to Devastate's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
Hi! In my opinion, points "1" (using Activity), 2, 3 and "5" (same point 1) are already the case! Point 4 is difficult to achieve, I think, because it would require several VPN clients, but you can always do it manually! -

Hi! To be confirmed because I use a switch, but I would say that it is the Lan to Lan activity. Transfers locally via the integrated R3 switch. Your devices exchange data between them without you knowing it. For example, you can take Windows updates, a PC will download them and transfer them locally to the other machine!
