Hi! I asked another beta tester who can also use VLan id behind his ONT just in case. It's "funny " because I don't have the problem behind a manageable switch probably the ONT-R3 VLan id link... (In the meantime if you want to remove your main router, you always have the option of putting a manageable switch with the VLan id option between your ONT and the R3 "if you have one on hand") By the way, what does ping heatmap give in this ONT-ISP router-R3 configuration?

Welcome ! 😉 If you want to play exclusively on the Madrid server, disable geolatency! There is one thing I don't understand is your ISP ping and the ping on the Madrid game server. If you don't have peering problems, you have set up a VPN upstream of the R3 maybe? Testing from France, I have a better ping than you! (Heatmap ping)

Netduma R3 not connecting to servers within set zone

Hi! It's because you have geolatency enabled! -
Hi! If I understand correctly, you are trying to put the R3 in the DMZ of your main router? The IP for the R3 is the one proposed by your main router in the DHCP range of your main router. Provide a screenshot and we can help you!

Ok what FW are you on? Try to factory reset it from the GUI. And from the address http://192.168.77.1 you should be good Then you can request early access!

Just to be sure, you connect with your browser with: http:192.168.77.1 ? and not https:...

You can try by selecting a server on ping heatmap and running a speed test, then just look at the ping variation on the server and adjust ping optimizer until there is no more variation! Enregistrement 2024-09-04 190008.mp4 I took a shortcut at 50% but you can then increase to see the break!

What browser are you using? Have you tried resetting the cache or using a different one?

Hi! It all depends on the port range your ISP will provide you. To put it simply CG-NAT is the way ISPs limit the purchase of IPv4 addresses. Generally, it divides the TCP/UDP port range of a public IPv4 address into 4 and uses it for 4 different clients! If you don't want to take the risk, the best thing is to pay, even if for me it should be free on request!

I would love that! But the internal WAN/LAN switch of the future DumasOS router would have to be multi-Gig. In this case we can think about dualWAN and more! In the meantime it is always possible locally by adding a switch that offers it!

Ok !

-
Ok ! Tu parles français ? Comment est connecté le R3 ? (derrière la livebox ou derrière l'ONT)

ISP = Internet Service Provider

Hi! I think you need to enter a DHCP option or PPPoE ID to use the R3 behind your ONT. What is your ISP?

A few questions before I buy Netduma R2...

Hi ! It is no longer manufactured so you will not find it new on the official website! You will find it second-hand, but take a lot of guarantees before making an online purchase.
